Ya, been a little tempted to grab the dremel and notch out the wood (liner actually) stem, as done on the metal stem, to get it to sit correctly.

I would suggest that the tempest is not deep enough, but when you get it down to the right depth the Flare will probably lower the wattage ... lower wattage, increased time. The carb caps that come with the wand are a fit for the Flare, no more holding the wand on the carb cap in your water...

I assume the reported length issue holds true for mounting this on a tempest stem, anyone tried the fit.

Blend 'em based on size and material, with an eye on the published material numbers.

Thought the main appeal was the sublimation functionality; which really seems to be a misnomer...
