    Did you're haptic feedback stop? Mine recently did the same (TM1). With the bottom plate removed and in my hand, I gently lifted the two leads on the little motor secured to the plate. Not much, just so they stood about 1mm taller. Problem solved! If you're having issues, I hope this solves them.

    The top plate has to come off to remove the glass liner. If you have the OG, you just need to remove the bottom screw. If you have TM2 there is a second screw that is accessed from under the bottom cover. This second screw attaches the top plate to the wooden body. I don't have the TM2 so can't...

    Like Zipford, I too use the Upline for my native use stem. Some feel it does get too hot. I am generally a temp stepping flavor chaser and rarely take more than three hits in succession. The Upline never gets too hot for me.

    Anyone have mouth piece suggestions that would bring the HD3 down to tabletop height? Or am I stuck looking for a whip?

    The screen should come out after unscrewing the retaining ring and removing the o-ring and stainless steel liner.

    If you have some sand paper, emery board/cloth, or possibly steel wool, try cleaning (sanding) inside of the upper cover where the metal lead makes contact. This fixed that issue for me. Also I've read on here to make sure the screw is tight. (See pages 641, 642 for this) I hope this solves...
