I guess the upside is I rarely seem to combust any herb. If you actually take the time to stir your bowl halfway through you do end up with a pretty even extraction. There's just a lot of sucking hard and fan assisting and pushing it to the max... but I guess that's why it's $180 and not $400...

Thank you! are there any inherent safety issues with non-borosilicate other than temperature weakness? I realize the globe won't be getting hot so it shouldn't really matter, but I've never used non-boro before I don't believe.
