I was the same. I use the stem on the V2 as a WPA. There is no trade off in airflow, and I like the extra cooling for use with small pieces. I've even started using the stem as a general use WPA for other vape heads. I love the new stem.

I imagine the cooling is great. How is the airflow restriction. Is there a big trade off? Compared to a third party TM glass stem for example. I don't think the stock CU should be compared to as it's terrible and no one in their right kind uses it.

I like V2 more in all honesty. Better extraction, bigger wider bowl, so even when in smaller bowl setting you benefit from more airflow. The WPA functionality. Increased potency. Increased IH efficiency. I also think the stem is an amazing one stem fits all. It's the best stem for the Tornado...

Do people aim their torches straight down the intake? Or angled into a side wall? Never used one of these pinched butane intakes.

This. The T2 has great cooling. If T1 has more cooling, it isn't by a substantial margin at all. I also think some of the extra potency is due to the new stem.

The mp acts like a lock for whatever air setting you set it to. I prefer this over the T1. It's a nice feeling having everything locked in, as I only tend to change airflow when I change other things like bowl size, tip airflow, WPA mode etc.

I have not used it without the spiral. That would just be a straight tube. I see no reason for that. It does come with a shorter spiral. I intend to experiment with it. I use it without glass all the time. I can do a single hit DTL on 0.15g bowl. That's a monster hit for a stem. When I have...

I'm finding the click calibration similar to V1. My preferred roast is 3-4 seconds beyond it. I think this is intentional. You can't force everyone to go for a dark roast. Lots of people go lighter. I think it is well calibrated to click at the beggining of the range that most users will go for.

I believe only really sensitive users will not get on with T2 cooling. It's not that the T2 lacks cooling. It cools very well. I can do a one hit DTL 0.15g bowl with it. It's just that T1 with Helix had more cooling than it needed imo. EDIT- just putting it back together. I'm shocked at how...

    The WOODEN Vaporizer Thread

I recall. I have this post of yours bookmarked :D Gazed at it more than a few times pondering next purchase. I love your Plum wood Punch BTW. Where I grew up we had plum trees everywhere, and in the garden. Ib the summer the ground would be covered in splattered plums. I'm very envious of this...

    The WOODEN Vaporizer Thread

Anyone have a Dreamwood Punch & Punch mini? I'm wandering how different they are in use. I love how cute and small the mini is. I'm worried airflow would be a lot more restricted or the cooling would be not quite enough.

Yeah the adaptor is very useful. It's less useful when travelling or using outdoors. But that's because Brenyo clearly wanted a solution that didn't lock the wand into only Tempest use. A lot of people complained about the V1 adaptor, and having to remove it to use their Dynavaps etc...

Same thing happened with the Tornado to some users. Most use it with no problems. Hard to say what the issue is.

I've only used mine with the wand so far. No issues. Using it with the new adaptor. The T2 has more cooling than the T1 Direct flow + SCU. More airflow too imo.

Is the airflow quite restricted on this? Compared to other direct draw butane vapes. Also is it easy to get bit bowl killing clouds, like with brick vapes, Or is it more of a session style?

I love using the stem as a WPA. Let's you do big bowls on small pieces comfortably, with wide open airflow. This is 0.15g bowl, airflow half closed at tip, airflow fully closed at stem. Monster hit. Amazing extraction. EDIT - That potency again. Wow.

    Tornado by Vestratto

I found the Anvil to be a lot more stoney than thr Tornado. The Tornado feels hybrid. Like a convection sig that somehow gets into your muscles as well. It has the body sedating effects, but it doesn't stone me. Doesn't slow my pulse massively and give me heavy eyelids, and empty static mind...
