I just purchased one of these on the 26th, not knowing about the new ban, (that’s on me, of course). the order page said “complete” on the 28th, and “shipped” the next day. All good so far. Should I be worried that this beautiful device isn’t going to clear U.S. Customs?

Mine no longer heats up enough to do much of anything. They said to send them the old body and they’ll replace it, so I’ll be doing that tomorrow. It was fun while it worked.

Yes. To me and presumably some others, the form factor is part of the appeal, but here’s no denying that it limits the device in some ways. It’s a compromise, and those tend to leave everyone unhappy, lol.
