Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

I had some bad luck a few nights ago and broke a chimney. I dusted off my spare Neo and my luck got worse -- after one bowl it went "no atomizer". Same night. My question is this -- could I combine parts from these two to get one working Neo? Has anyone found a source for pre-cut chimneys...

    Firefly 1, 2, 2+

Hey folks - I'm having an issue with my FF2+ -- when I engage the side buttons the LED immediately goes solid red and the oven doesn't heat up. Same results with different batteries in different states of charge. Tested the batteries in a friend's FF2+ so I know they are good. Any ideas what...

    Firewood Vaporizer

@rosedale - I also just stepped up to the FW8 from the FW7 and I agree with all your comments. I fill capsules over a sheet of paper until they're loosely full to the top. Then I use the tamper built into the lid to firmly tamp the load. I never have to worry about the capsules spilling once...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Got my group B early adopter package last week. The was a minor issue with a part missing from my order and when I emailed Marc he had already put the part in the mail. Top notch customer service and the FW8 is a beast! While it's not as clean looking as the FW7 the amount of intricate...

Definitely gotta say HI to the cat(s) @MMJane. Mine seem to sense when I'm medicated -- they're like "oh hells yeah he's high - we're gonna get the good good belly rubs now!"

Sent my check off to Marc today (group B) and it gave me a smile. Reminded me of the days mail ordering Dead tickets for upcoming tours. 😊

I use a medium grind and tamp enough that no crumbs fall out. I’ve held the FW7 at every imaginable angle while using — including vertical with a silicone adapter on the cooling mouthpiece for water hits. Never noticed any difference in performance because of how it’s held.

    Firewood Vaporizer

I ordered a water pipe adapter a couple weeks ago and the payment options were Transfer Wise or personal check. I was unsuccessful setting up a Transfer Wise account after several days of trying (due to an issue with my bank) and eventually mailed a check (US customer). He patiently held my...

I definitely agree the FW8 should have a more tactile button. Also, I’d like to see the basic current design taken to the smallest most pocketable extreme. Maybe using an 18350 and a long slim design. The current user interface is perfect though - no lights, screens, or apps - just buzzes and...

Given how hard Marc has probably worked for the last year and a half to satisfy demand for the FW7, I wouldn’t blame him at all for taking an extended hiatus. From communicating with him regarding a parts order I know he was traveling last week. Hopefully a well earned vacation. Patience...

I have an older Micro - not sure what version. Anyone know what changes were made to the V3 version?

    Vapman

Just noticed the Vapman site updated to September 10th as the day for store opening. Anybody know if any other U.S. vendors have been set up? I believe VGoodiez expects to carry the new line but when I asked he didn't know when he'd get in his first stock.

Looks great @ezpz ! Love the idea of being able to add heat while drawing!

    Vapman

I'm curious -- how many of you are using your Vapman as your "daily driver" or most frequently used vape? I've had mine for several weeks now and while a little of the fun has worn off, it's still the first piece I pick up when I'm ready to kick back. Can't beat the flavor, and I love feeling...

    Vapman

@EnemyLemon - Here's my experience with Vapman and how it relates to other vape devices. I vape dry herb only -- no oils, concentrates, waxes, etc., and have not combusted (other than rare tokes at a parties) since 2017. I enjoy the ritual and don't mind if a vape requires learning a certain...

    Vapman

Got my greenheart Vapman almost a week ago (very fast shipping from VGEZ!) and I'm really shocked by how much I like it. So much different than the FW7 and Ed's WS I've been using for the last several months. Although the heat up time from cold is about the same as the FW7 on low temps, it's...

So I saw that VGDZ got in some of these and I impulsively bought one because, VAS. I don't know much about them - anybody wanna post up some how-to links or otherwise useful info?

Another alternative to cutting down the glass straw if you’re trying to keep the stem from retracting is to just cut a spacer out of tubing. The white round plastic tube of a “Bic Stic” ballpoint pen works well, can be cut easily, and you probably have one in the bottom of a desk drawer...

@sirwalter -- in my experience the water bath was enough to mitigate dust when cutting glass, but wearing a mask to be extra careful is a really good idea! Good catch. Eye protection too of course, in case that actually has to be said. @buckhakeesah -- pretty sure the BB6 is too short. The...

@Shit Snacks - cutting the glass straw is actually quite easy to do if you already have a Dremel (small rotary tool) and a diamond cut-off wheel. Twirl the glass in your fingers (just like heating a DynaVap) while holding it under a dribble of water from the faucet. Cut slowly with very little...
