I'll say this...with the Dani BFG TI Tip Dani and the magnetic cap I heat just the portion of the tip that fits on the fcore...basically heating up the plate..just the tip and a small portion of the heating band. With the Inductor on 25 it will pop the plate in about 7 8 seconds. Then heat it...

Yeah after it gets to a certain temp. The button and the upper part of the handheld heating unit near the cooling fins will stay HOT. And you can feel some of that residual heat in the button. It doesn't cool down quickly enough if you leave it on. You have to turn it off for it to really cool...
