    GonG Storage Jars

The 7th Floor jars arrived. Very nice. The pic below shows a sampling of my storage assortment: the blue 7th Floor (~100ml), small clear BTG's (~30ml) and a couple of sizes of Bormioli Rocco Fido's (500 and 200ml). The Fido's work great and are priced very nicely at about $3 for the small jar...

    GonG Storage Jars

Apparently SSV also offers colored GonG jars. Blue and green. I just ordered a few blue small units. Not sure of the UV performance (all is in the dark most of the time) but my brief web research suggested blue to be good. Perhaps a snoob here, I'd like an assortment of ready to go preground...

    GonG Storage Jars

I found Beantown Glass for a couple of GonG jars. They are a bit expensive but perfect for my requirements. I went this route after wait listing for a medium SC storage from Vapeworld for a couple months. Nice little jars for keeping a few days worth of grind fresh. And if you are concerned...

    420 'pop-top' jar

SD_haze you are right. The most ridiculous thing ever is a poster suggesting a site promoting "modern polymeric materials" as preferred to glass on a forum where glass is nirvana tops all. No intent to be offensive, just terse.

    420 'pop-top' jar

GReyArea - Sealing gong joints with some sort of vacuum grease is required if you are going to actually be pulling a serious vacuum on the joint. For storage, not required. For all the gong hitting tools out there, folks don't pull enough of a vacuum to require vacuum grease. To prevent your...

    420 'pop-top' jar

I acquired a couple gonged jars from Beantown Glass....looks like the same is resold by bostonvapes in 2clickers' post at a better price though not the size I wnted. A bit pricey but perfect for my requirements (storing a couple days supply of preground and one for kief accumulation)...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

I'll agree with elmomuzz, showing Vape-X on the credit card is uber stupid. mod note: Don't attack products or companies. You can post your opinion, and you can criticize, but posts written to offend are not allowed. That is certainly offensive. LOL

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

Sorry for starting a bit of controversy here. I guess the half full view is the thread got a bunch of activity after a week or so of pretty much nothing. I can't disagree with anything that has been posted in response. For me, the issue is not so much about the cash as about creating an...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

Thanks Muscle for the info. The blur in my eyes while reading of a potential Cloud delay surely the reason that I missed the reference to the 11th in Robot's email. Mongorian - I surely don't accept two weeks as a standard for a credit card reversal. This is not a refund, it is a misprocessed...

Adjustable power supply for PD/WDZ/ARZ vapes

Directionally, I'm sure you are hurting the life of the Ohmite resistor, just not sure if it is significant. With a 13.8 voltage, the resistor is putting out about 9.5 watts (V^2/R with R=20) versus the resistor rating of 5 watts. Of course, PD's and Zap's have been running for years in...

Adjustable power supply for PD/WDZ/ARZ vapes

Thanks for sharing your experience Puget. That 13.5 VAC 5000mA unit was likely delivering close to 15VAC to the PD and yielding about a 40F higher operating temp. Do you leave your PD on the 13.8 VDC ps 24/7?

Adjustable power supply for PD/WDZ/ARZ vapes

I just happened upon this thread after seeing a power adapter question on the UD thread. Log powering has intrigued me as well, first looking to go portable with a battery pack and also interested in goosing the heat a bit for a better experience with various water tools. The Jameco 10081...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

The aroma cup in the cherry PD is a 3/4" pipe plug that I picked up at Lowes for about $5 (!!!). It has a nice flat bottom and minimizes the risk of accidentally getting some essential oil in the PD.

    The Toasty Top

TV...on the stem compatibility, the PD heat port is about 1 mm smaller OD and has thicker walls so an even smaller ID. I'm going to guess that this heat port wall thickness difference is likely the primary reason the TT runs relatively "hot". And to push the "hot" up a bit, I'm using the PD...

    The Toasty Top

TV...the PD stems do fit into the poly cleaning tube but with minimal clearance. It takes a bit of coaxing to get the stem back out of the tube. Somebody will get one stuck so I'd suggest caution in using for PD stem cleaning. One question: What are the included extra o-rings for (high temp...

    The Toasty Top

My Toasty Top arrived Monday as promised. The first thing I did was power up the top. Then I swapped the tip on the glass stem to the PD compatible brass tip and tried it out on my PD. Very nice. I've since tried a couple stems with the TT. Vaped like a champ. Much more testing required...
