Just wanted to share another way to use the vrod. Tried using my long 18mm glass cooling stem (rbt)with its basket screen loaded with weed😀 I place the screen against the vrod head and inhale . Easy

You can decrease the resistance too, by not seating the stem completely. A loose seal allows some cooler air .

The switch is a 12mm 2 post momentary 36v 2a dc . Mine failed too, it's easy to fix. I found a replacement on Amazon Urtone ur123 stainless steel. Never had any help from RBT.

Is this the best you can do for broken or defective devices? I had to fix mine myself with no help from the maker or other employee. Just had a yes no question. If your mi3 fails it will more likely be the switch. Mine died and the switch was the problem. Good luck you are on your own...

I think there is or was a video of ryan doing a re glue on a splinter, it would be similar type of a repair. He used a two part epoxy and stressed proper mixing of the 2 parts.

If you look at RogueGuy's pictures, there is a top shot picture that shows it is brass.

Definitely try a bigger torch, maybe a triple before giving up on the brick. The bigger torch was a game changer for me.

If the cold ohms reading on your mod hasn't increased the heating element should be fine. The discoloration is probably cosmetic

The new wood carb cap and and hemp wrapped aluminium coil handle are must haves for me.

I hope you figure it out. I have vaped like a fiend to alleviate pain at times. It sucks being desperate and under pain's thumb.
