This was similar to how I last used my SAI and what led me to design and build the 510MOD actually. I was using that exact bubbler from Source Vapes even. I am surprised you did not get more comments on this setup. Kudos on the Frankenstein retrofit! This is how progress is made people!

500F on an RDK-200.

@biohacker I finally checked the temp at my sidewalls vs. the floor on my ruby insert when heated by a 25mm opaque bottom banger and axial coil. I get a temp on the floor of 455F and the walls are only about 425F at the top. So the floor is hotter when using an axial coil as far as I can tell.

I would also add that the stage of life the bud itself is in will have a great effect. Older dryer stuff seems to be more sappy and fresher stuff (East Coast so fresh is still far from Harvest) often gives me more of a budder result. Quality, temperature and pressure all seem to play a role...
