I thought it was only supposed to tick when the heater is going because it cycles on and off? You may have a bigger problem if that's the case.

Well I guess you would need to compete the circuit by touching a piece of metal to them (a naked Grasshopper perhaps?). Anyway it doesn't hurt to be safe.

If you're going to store your batteries like that make sure you have like terminals facing each other (i.e. positive to positive or negative to negative). Otherwise they may slowly discharge.

This is an awesome update! Definitely way better than I was thinking it would be. Hopefully they are right and we do see more hoppers being shipped and fewer issues as well.

That was my first thought but then I remembered the charging cable has a big brick in the middle of it.

What you could do is just cut a rectangular hole down the middle of the current design. You could slide the charger through this new hole sideways (the magnetic connector portion that looks as though it can spin), and then turn it flat so it is resting on top of the current design. You could...
