I use mine when I need a portable. Found some new batteries that fit and work. Still have lots of cans and accessories for it. Even use it through a water device with their attachment.
And my Vapir Rise 2.0 which is my main vape has been nothing short of fantastic. Such a shame they don't...
I replaced mine as posted above and it works like new. Don't use it much but it works now at least.
The Haze batteries are protected 18650 batteries which are longer than standard protected. both protected and no protected come in button top or flat top. Haze ones are button top.
For those interested in these particular batteries just be aware that they cannot be shipped to Canada and likely other countries as well. For those in US it they are a good replacement.
Update on my Victpower 3.7v 3000mah protected button top batteries I bought on Amazon Canada. They are not...
I am in Canada and the ATK batteries people have been using do not ship to Canada so I ordered these from Amazon. Took a long time to arrive but so far they work and charge in the Haze charger. Slightly less tall than OEM but tall enough to work. The non protected 18650 batteries are too...
I don't (didn't lol) see the Dual as being at a disadvantage because you could (if needed) bring along extra batteries, cans, mouthpieces etc. Those were advantages in my eyes. I never considered a Square because I thought the built in battery was a BIG step backwards from the Dual that had...
Vapir Rise is on demand if you remove the bowl from the unit as soon as you turn it off. No grind with just breaking bud into pieces by hand works best. Not a portable but if using in home environment it doesn't matter too much.
And I agree when Scott left things went downhill.
Finally think I have figured out best way to use this vape. No grinding!!! I just take a nug and break it into smallish pieces and voila much improved. I also put more into bowl than I will consume and when done with a session I take out the bowl from the heating element and keep inhaling to...
I asked Haze (through PM on this site) a few months ago about the XL batteries for my Dual V3 which were separating at the tips from the plastic sheath falling apart (regular Haze batteries that came with the unit are fine). They replied through PM in a reasonable time frame saying the...
Back to using my Rise again. Direct draw (no bags). Connected by silicon tube from top of Rise to water adapter inserted in D20D. Temp of 370C most of session. Fan off then about mid bowl fan on at 2 or 3 bars (low) and 10 degree temp bump.
The plunger needs iso wipe pretty much after each...
I find small amounts work well. I also find I need about half the bud when using the Rise compared to my portable to get a similar effect.
Don't use it much because the portable is more convenient. If I could leave it setup and not have to pack it away after each session then I would probably...
Has anyone re-wrapped their batteries? I have 2 sets of original Haze batteries for my V3. The original ones that came with the unit (light blue) and a set of XL batteries which I purchased quite a while later. The original batteries are mint.
The XL batteries started to fray at both ends...
