Hello friends, I just got my evo and I’m trying to dial in the temps and draw technique. im liking the 2 o’clock position. If it’s whistling I’m drawing to hard? I begin with a slow draw and increase slowly?
Hello gents, is it possible to get a NonaVong wihout a airway hole in it and no mouthpiece? I'm having a hard time put together that configuration on the website. Please help!
Hello All, I'm thinking about my next vapcap purchase.
Do any of the nano vongs fit my 18mm d-020 bubbler without the need for a reducer?
Also, does wood on glass create as good of a seal as wood on rubber?
I've been using the rubber adapter from ratchet that I had bought for my crafty...
For people that use the hemp fiber as a filter in the chamber, what do you do with it when it's drity, throw it away? how long does it last?
Also, are people using the hemp fiber filter in addition to water filtration or is that overkill?
I get white walling hits on my first heat cycle, no preheat, no heat past the click.
What I do is:
-make sure the material is dry
-use a dual flame torch
-apply the torches on the N, perpendicular to the cap
-block the carb with tape
Voila!
nice, I use @Ratchett 's silicone water piece attachment that I had originally bought for my crafty. It's a little bigger than yours, sits much deeper in the vapcap, and creates a fantastic 18mm seal to my d-020 bubbler.
-With this attachment
-Closed carb with tape
-Heating with a 2 torch...
I received my 2 magnets today. Unfortunately, they are both useless.
I purchased this one:
Dimensions: 3/4" dia. x 3/8" thick
Tolerances: ±0.004" x ±0.004"
Material: NdFeB, Grade N42
Plating/Coating: Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel)
Magnetization Direction: Diametrical
Weight: 0.72 oz. (20.4 g)
Pull...
I have been using a single, double, triple, and quad.
Lately I've been getting best results with the double torch with the torches aimed across the cap focused on the N, as opposed to the torches aimed along the letters (going from up down).
I don't have the mighty or the solo 2 but I do have the crafty and the solo 1. I'd go with the mighty only because I really don't like stirring. The solo is the only vaporizer that has ever burned me. :science:
Welcome to the family! Order the Omni Ti and indulge in design excellence
You should probably consider that the vapcap has the smallest chamber out of your device arsenal. If that's ok, then go of it! :)
Those magnets are only 3lbs of pull force, something with 10lbs of pull force should be more than enough to pull the cap off. Like this one https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DC6DIA
I will order those and a cube.
looking forward to your findings with the magnets.
It kinda sucks that the 7 finned version will be discontinued. I've been using my vapcap daily for almost a year and I have never got plant material in-between the fins. Also, the idea of making the vapcap 20% lighter does not appeal to me...
