My psm heat shield fell off and my replacement wooden one fell off when I wasnt looking, leading me to melt the actuation button in the driver unit. Seems easy enough to fix but if the brute is much improved then this maybe a time to upgrade. What are you all's thoughts? Noticed a few comments...

Said it heated up fairly quickly, in sync with when I draw, and that it was noticeable, but not to the degree of the heating end.

Got a response for my inquiry on back end heating. "Some heating in the back is expected. If this becomes more of an issue on your unit let us know and we will replace it."

I thought I knew what hot was, coming from the pax, but the titanium and ss gh is a whole other level! Like a precision simmering fire. Serials are in the 50s for ss and 90s for titanium. Just a question, is the knob heating up to abnormally high temps once you start it normal?
