Anyone know of any reputable vendors with 25mm ruby/sapphire inserts in stock? All of the usual mid-price vendors that I’m aware of (i.e. not D-nail) seem to be sold out. I’m hoping for something of good quality and <$150.
So could you vape weed that wasn’t touching the bottom of the flask (like if it were raised on a pedestal of some kind)? It seems that if the convection element works as well as you claim then there’s no real need for direct conduction via glass/weed contact.
I tried to give this a bit more of a chance but their website wouldn’t even allow me to view it because I’m a “recreational user” and not some kind of professional:rofl:. Perhaps the idea is great, but I’m not going to fight these ridiculous barriers that the creator has made to shut out the...
Anyone currently using either the Rook or Knight? I’m very tempted to get one, but haven’t really heard anything regarding long-term usage impressions.
Oh, so this “10 times safer!” thing is just hyperbole? You might want to rethink your promotional copy if you don’t want your design to be dismissed as snake oil. As a consumer, nothing shuts my wallet quicker than a manufacturer trying to bamboozle me with meaningless stats.
If I’m understanding correctly, this is basically for partially decarbing your weed before you vape it... which would boil off a fair quantity of the lighter terpenes and thus avoid the harshness that comes with some of them (I’m imagining it would work well for the brighter citrus/lemon terps)...
After more than two months using the Bowle as my daily driver, my gasket looks basically identical to when I received it. Maybe I’m just more fastidious than many when it comes to keeping my pots clean and not over-stuffed, but I honestly can’t imagine needing to clean the gasket more than once...
This thing is starting to remind me a bit of a giant fragile motorized Magic Flight Launch Box (not an insult! At the same time, not something I ever would have guessed we needed, but I’ve been wrong before).
I guess for me there’s a major distinction between bluntness and hubris. Dude came in like this was a rap battle, which is kind of adorable/hilarious in context, but it sure as hell left me disinclined to take him and his opinions seriously.
I think a lot of the reaction people have had is to comments like this:
If anyone feels that I’m missing some important cultural nuance that’s been lost in translation, feel free to weigh in with some info I may have missed. As is, this is 100% asshole behavior for a manufacturer.
