I'm with biohacker. If I leave it on, set it to 5 and take 6 big hits in a row, both ends get pretty warm. Doesn't bother me, but its noticeable and I can see how some may not like it. So far seems to work okay. I get about 3 packs per battery on average. Still young though so who knows...
