It gets hot as fuck. Burned my finger testing it. LOL
Someone else who has one of these, stick your Ti (or stainless) tip in without a cap and tell us what happens.
And, mine gets hot almost instantly. I am guessing right now but I would say it has something to do with the fact that our...
If I stick my Ti or stainless tip (WITHOUT THE CAP) into my heater it clicks on immediately and works instantly.
I just ordered another one of these. I am going to do some testing when I get it. First order is finding out what that adjustable pot does. Then, I want to convert it to 12v for auto...
I didn't either. I looked it up. LOL
You guys want to see something funny. Check out the 'manual' for this heater. This has to be the worst translation job on the planet. LMAO Most of it barely (if at all) makes sense. LOL
Myth No. 3: Induction can’t be used with nonferrous metals
This misconception ties back to the earlier discussion about the two types of heat produced by induction: Joule heating and hysteresis heating. Nonferrous metals are not magnetic and therefore have extremely low permeability — so the...
I can place my Titanium tip WITHOUT THE CAP into the induction heater and it gets hot just like the stainless one. A little better, in fact.
And, stainless is mostly non-ferrous also isn't it?
They both work great. With or without the cap.
Glad I could do it. I love mine. It brought my VC out of the drawer and back into daily use. I am also exploring other options for a 12v version for the car. Although a power inverter looks like the only answer there (so far).
My goal is to convert my cigarette lighter in the car to an...
OK, gotcha. Makes sense now.
So, it looks like if the glass mouthpiece is left 'out' a little bit, there's room for a dosing cap. Otherwise, fill the glass mouthpiece, push it in all the way and use it without a dosing cap?? Sound right?
I ASSume the same for the other attachments? Left...
FIERCE Bundle: $199 - Includes Accessories Attachment & Standard Glass Mouthpiece.
@HealthyRips.com What is an "Accessories Attachment"?
And, is the "Standard Glass Mouthpiece" the one with the round glass piece that slides in and out?
Thanks
There are plenty of DIY guides for adding a gauge to a standard bottle jack. Simple, drill and tap procedure. I'm not real handy so it might be outside my scope but for most "manly" men, it should be a doable task. LOL
Awesome. Let us know when you get it.
I like the way the springs are concealed inside the side arms of the press. Great looking press. It would take nothing to flip this on it's back and do drip tek.
Just FYI, the pucks make incredible edibles. Must be something about the heat that gets administered during pressing but when I make butter from my chips, it's always the best butter.
@7oli5 I love the long DDave glass wand but any Vapcap will work. The reason I like the glass wand is because it stays nice and cool, even though it it placed inside the induction heater coil while heating the tip. The induction heating doesn;t affect the glass, only the metal tip so the glass...
I love my DDave water wand with mine. The 10mm makes a great size mouthpiece. And, if I want to bong it, I just add the 10 / 15 adapter he includes and.... what more can you say. :)
You can accept the security exception and continue to the site. Yes, each sample is different but I have found that strains do follow patterns. I have made recipes for terps to add to edibles based upon these reports and the results have been predictable.
Double thanks again, Sailor. It is working great now. Without your advice I would have A. Not known what was wrong and B. not known how to properly fix it.
You have to wonder about all the VapCap buyers who are not members here and receive inferior products from DynaVap. I guess they just toss...
I really like the looks of that. It it bigger than the Vaponic? Is it still available?
I will try some experiments with my Vaponic in the IH later today and let you know how it works
