Fasttech have had shipping issues with the authorities being extra strict with e-packets to UK and US going through Beijing since the 20% off sale at the end of May
I've got 3 parcels that I'm not sure if they've left China after 2 weeks in the mail system.
I'm not too worried tho as they've...
Yay AutoFire
The max duration is 60 seconds :|
I like the timers for it in the foxy and circle skins
Shame it's not long enough for G43 sessions but it's plenty of time for a couple of bong hits with other 510 vapes :tup:
@Radiohead
You can decrease the TCR and/or the locked resistance to decrease the temp of the coil without decreasing the temp shown onscreen.
I would ...
Decrease the locked resistance in 0.001 increments 'til you're happy
Or decrease the TCR 'til you're happy
Or a bit of both
And
Increase...
Thanks for the heads up about the 4mm tubes (added to my watch list for now)
I like the idea of running a leg up the centre to insulate it.
Glass beads with holes through the centre are only a few pence more than the solid beads and make great insulators too.

I count 16
And also know it comes to about .85 ohms
Soooo you should be able to work it out from that :)
(don't forget the tails btw)
I saw the bundles of 50 German glass rods on the auction site, was really...
I'd go with Kanthal heating wire if you're planning on only using wattage mode like Bud n Hazel
The steam-engine.org calculators may be useful to you to calculate wire material, thickness and how many wraps you need.
May I ask where you found a 4mm glass rod please.
I could only find 5mm...

RBT's got a Seed growing for the rosin
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/rbt-seed.26106/
'til that starts to bud I'd go with some rolled up mesh in a Vapcap or buy a dedicated atomizer for the rosin like the Divine Tribe or Saionara cup style ones (or buy a mesh atomizer and build it like the...
In TC mode I like to temp step in 5 degree steps from 190 to 210 ish (I have the mod set to go up in 5s)
Each step is different. You can extract everything at each step so there's no vapour then turn it up a step and get vapour so I'm gonna say yes I can see and taste the difference.
We're...
To answer the questions I understand
All of them are correct
It gets hotter going from 370 to 390 :science:
(sorry I couldn't resist)
I like the TCR at 125 for all my Splinters at the moment with the power set to 40w max for the V1 (and my 19/19 waitlister) and 45w max for the Z, with...
I run round the corners with the provided stick after every bowl
apply wax to the wood and soak the top hat gauze once a fortnight
and give the stems a soak about once a month altho I haven't figured out exactly how to do that with the VF cooling stems yet :hmm:

There's some more PID talk at the beginning of the thread with some mesmerising gifs and more info peppered throughout the thread too.
I tried that with some 3mm glass beads, which worked but I had to crank up the heat to much for my liking to get any vapour past them.
So now I'm using a 510 drip tip with an extra o-ring to keep the 6mm beads in the short stem on my standard imp, which work much better.
The M tips take longer to heat than the Ti tips for me with Pipes' IHs
With an M tip I go about 5 seconds past the click on the 1st heat and 3 seconds after on subsequent reheats.
With a Ti tip I go 3 seconds past on the 1st dip and a second after or at the click when reheating.
