    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

Yes, I store my Lithium batteries at about 60% charge. Not actually sure if the RCR123A batteries I have for my T1 should also be stored at reduced charge, but that's what I do.

Gear Best Clearo for Pure Gold?

I get my Pure Gold in the (factory sealed) ampules. I have some that are six months from purchase (no idea how long they were in the dispensary) and the only difference I see is that they've gotten a little darker. I "store" them in the little sealed glass vials the ampules come in, in a...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

@2clicker: Switch to 28 gauge and wrap a few more turns and you should find your resistance in the 1.0Ω range. With 18350s you should probably avoid going below an ohm. Suitably rated 18350s should be safe below that, but won't last very long. That's one of the reasons that e-cig users often...

Discontinued The Liquidizer Herb2Vapor System - Safety Butane Extractor & Mini-vaporizer

@2clicker : Check out my message in the Concentrates section. Not sure the PT3 Mini will work out better than the last batch of Sapphires did with undiluted Pure Gold, but it's worth a shot. And maybe the "V5" Sapphire will work as well as it used to as opposed to the last batch I got from them...

Gear Best Clearo for Pure Gold?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I'd be happy to pay double for a SS version, but I doubt that's gonna happen. What do I have to fear from chrome plated brass?

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

The Sony VTC5's are available now. Three pack for $30. (shipping is $5 for orders under $50, free for orders over $50). vapordna is a USA vendor (not China), though I have not used them. These are the latest version of the 30A high current (low internal resistance) green wrapped wonders. Sony...

Gear Best Clearo for Pure Gold?

Yeah, the real leak test is going to be in an airplane. If this does work out, I was thinking maybe instead of spending the $10 each for the custom atty's from the UK, I'd just bite the bullet and buy/make one of the little arc welders to join resistance and non-resistance wire. It's not like I...

Gear Best Clearo for Pure Gold?

I just ordered a couple of KangerTech Protank 3 Mini clearomizers from Fasttech. (link). Since they're coming from China, I expect to have to wait the usual two weeks or so before they arrive. I have high hopes that they will be a suitable replacement for the GotVapes Sapphire clearos I've been...

    Discontinued Thermovape Luna

If you are able to be happy with somewhat lesser quality, you can get exactly what you want. There's a Chinese T1 handle knockoff that takes an 18650 and has a 510 connector on the top. A real T1 LL core will screw into that. Of course, you'll have to have one of the LV T1 cores for this to...

    Discontinued Thermovape Luna

This is great news, and a wise decision; everyone wins. Reminds me of how many fine watch manufacturers deal with periodic maintenance. (Though the watch people charge two or three orders of magnitude more money). Oh my god, I've been waiting YEARS for this. Selfishly, this is even greater...

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

mud: Well, I went back and looked around some more in the TET site store, and it looks like you're right. It appears there's a liquid core for the Cera line and a liquid core for the Luna line. I guess I'm a little confused in general though. I asked here three or six times trying to find out...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

All of the VV/VW mods I've seen have a timeout on the button. Doesn't matter if it's a tiny eGo style or one of the monster 26650's with a DNA30 in it. Only the pure mechanical mods don't have a timeout. (At least I've never seen or heard of a VV/VW without a timeout).

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

If I read the TE site correctly last night, the "new" liquid core is a 7V item, and the old liquid core (as well as the old/current oil and botanical cores) is rated at 3.7V. So if I read things correctly, the new liquid core requires a two battery setup.

Gear Best Clearo for Pure Gold?

Adding a drop of solder to the battery center contact (or the bottom of the Sapphire) is probably not a great idea... If you're careful, you can pull out the center positive contact on the bottom of the Sapphire a little, and it should make contact with whatever battery you use. I've used a...

Gear Best Clearo for Pure Gold?

I too haven't heard of the FS-2.4, so I also can't comment. Try one and let us know. :) You mention that you have gone back and re-read the thread from the beginning, so you have read my comments on the differences I found between the GotVapes Sapphire version of the Buddy Clearo and the other...

    Gear innokin itazte SVD

I haven't seen one, but I checked it out online, and it looks pretty reasonable. It's round rather than square, and it's about 30% longer (but it also has 50% more capacity). It's also rated at 15W as opposed to the 11W the VV V3 is rated at. I have no idea whether it works well or sucks, or...

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

The Sony battery I recommended is currently the best one for our use, but that said, there aren't huge differences among the top few. A battery with higher internal resistance will absolutely produce more heat when used, but if you have a massive high power heater sitting on top of the battery...

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

The 2100mAh Sony is the way to go with the Cera, particularly when using the LL core. It is by far the best suited, with the lowest internal resistance, reasonable capacity, and safe chemistry. As I mentioned much earlier in this thread, it will heat your core up faster, and heat itself up MUCH...

    Gear innokin itazte SVD

The TV Evo cores want 20 Watts. You'll need a mod that's powered by a DNA20 (or the reportedly soon to be released DNA30) to supply that much power, or you could use a pure mechanical mod (no electronics or wires; just battery and contacts). Plus as you note all the regulated commercial mods...

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

Have you tried cleaning the contacts? (Not the battery contacts, the Cera contacts). If they're dirty, and not making good electrical contact, you'll be experiencing pretty much what you're describing. I'm sure OF can give you good advice on the best way to check and clean the Cera's contacts...
