Thank you all so much for all the warm birthday wishes:love:
Life has gotten busy again with 4 kiddos back in school and summer winding down, but my BC grinder is still as smooth as ever. I find myself using the middle grind most of the time, and the fine once in while. Today looks pretty busy...
:rofl:Got an irl lol out of me on that one. While not wrong, even putting this thing carefully in the cupboard I feel like it wants to be nestled safely in a soft home...that insanely brilliant finish..damn I'm just proving your point. :shrug...
On the model I have there is only the magnets, no lip like the picture on their site shows. And it does not hang on very well. That grinder is an absolute pain to use.
I have a giant size one of those good life grinders. I will post some pics later, but there really is no competition here. The good life grinder is terrible. Impossible to turn when loaded. You got to like start the turn while it's still open and then you kind of close it while turning.
Here is a link to a video showing the BC grinder vs some rather sticky purple punch using each different plate

So I asked for the stickiest, worst on the grinder weed they had at a local shop, and i was presented with some Gelato. The fine plate ground it with laughable ease. A beautiful fine grind. There are some pictures and a video so you can see the consistancy of the fine plate, but I am frustrated...
Those 4 big chunks you see in my picture were it. I generally break it up a bit more when im grinding, but i thought go big or go home for the first grind, and it handled it like a champ.
The Brilliant Cut Grinder arrived today and I am beyond impressed. The build quality is incredible. It has a nice weight to it, you can feel the craftsmanship. I put a load of purple punch thru it and it ground it like a champ. Silky smooth action, perfect medium grind. No clogs or hitching. No...
Made some improvements to my stand, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Magnet holds tight now, and there is a spot for everything, in a small form factor. Loving my nano!
Fwiw, my vote goes with Stona. It sounds high end to me. Thrilled to be part of the testing for this potentially awesome new grinder. And I'm gonna drive all over this legal state trying to find the stickiest, most challenging herb for this baby. Unjammable? Challenge accepted
