I was simply saying that in my subjective experience peoples distaste to bags is misinformed and their valid uses are rarely acknowledged when discussing forced air as a feature.
Finer screens like the EQ mentioned above are ideal, but will keep the wand cleaner at the expense of screen cleaning frequency.
I just rotate screens in a little jar of iso and run my wand through hot water every now and then.
Nothing worse than being OCD about the glass cleanliness and then...
Well i made that generalised statement based on my subjective experience, being that the general consensus among the "chronnoisseurs" is to hate on bags, which just irks me when no-one has any decent reason to other then as you say - preference. Why make noise because someone bought a blue car...
Also - all the hate on bags confounds me. Pretentious, uninformed and elitist nonsense haha. Really - it makes me chuckle.
How can someone with compromised lung function use a whip vape? or a direct draw with the throat irritation.
How can a novice, disabled or otherwise handicapped...
i know You guys are fans of the baskets with the LSV.
I Just tested the little basket with the Super-Surfer - highly efficiency! (Silver with spherical would be the same.
I wont even start trying to compare to other types of vapes in terms of efficacy of extraction.
My brains and its...
So here is the Ghetto basket screen configuration i have been using (my friend got a flat tyre and things got hairy for a while, the basket was my only option!)
I just cut a hole in a larger screen for the basket to fit into (using my dremel, much easier) which i slid into the spherical...
Yeah that doesn't sound normal let a-lot expectable unless more information is given.
Sorry to hear that your LSV stopping performing, though the heater does not generally "Wear" in that manner.
(Side note, just filled a basket screen using the super surfer......... i like)
Now i'm picturing the future where patent laws degrade further and my grandkids can't even get a vape with a magnetic positron heating element without trading a kidney to the Opple Carporation
That wouldn't cover the food to get the calories i burned getting off my sleepy ass to go pick the fucker up from the post-office :p
You have a surfer - you could always take up a new hobby and craft yourself a ghetto super-surfer
but then we will have to make all our accessories use...
I will be getting another video recorded tomorrow properly detailing the changes relative to the Silver Surfer and also explain how I use the analogue set-up.
I used it with a basket screen today and managed to fill quite a big bag with no stirring and a very efficient extraction!
The...
Quick video i made, listening made it evident that i should probably go see the doctor about my stroke symptoms (serious:science:)
When i shown the domed screen, there is another flat screen below it. I did not make that clear.
I also forgot to mention i have a screen in the wand for the bag...
I am certainly not going to obstruct you from making that choice
I assume you are talking SSV for concentrates and SuSV (if i say it enough, it's a thing!) for flower, which sounds ideal to me
A hectic mess of organised chaos is how i like it :ko:
The new HC is much better in my opinion as is the new heater stand, was wanting the standard GG fitting for years now.
Here is a a pic i took when i was testing some fan tweaks.
Ill get a better one in just a second and upload a video...
if you have opened the unit up, you should be able to see the resistance of the rheo and the utilization of its terminals, from that you can then purchase a rheo with similar dimensions and specs.
Edit: i assume i caught i glimpse of the blemish units being discussed, the blemishes are hardly noticeable and wouldn't be seen by an average person in my experience.
I looked around the warehouse at all the blem units trying to see the flaws and managed to get about 2 bout of 30 .
Got mine...
Received mine in the post today.
I was pretty surprised at how different it looked compared to the really old prototype i had seen and the pictures!
I am actually a fan of the lights and the base, though i didn't expect to be. Genuinely. Plus you can always turn them off.
The glass knobs look...
I gauge my LSV to never surpass around 18C above ambient, though ambient in Scotland is around 0C
If the ambient temperature is uncomfortable, then any heat producing device is only going to raise to an even more uncomfortable temperature.
Cant say i have ever had temperature be an issue...
