How can i make sure my batteries don't get messed up? If the charger automatically adjusted voltages shouldn't the battery have lasted longer than a week of moderate usage (3-4 bowls a day)

When i charge the ghb3 in the nitecore i4 do i need to change any settings or does it automatically switch down to 3.7v?
