.5g in my BCG regular with fine plate after one week of use from being cleaned to new
Only the sticky strains take this long
Here are pictures after a week of use from cleaning
I used it a long time without issues until I got a hold of this strain regularly...
Ruby swap with tradie torch (I've used a few torches and the cherry glow visual indicator method works every time)
Can cherry it good n proper with Ruby
A little more forgiving than Boro when riding the combustion line
The wand makes it mindless and perfectly even avb (ruby or boro) for one...
Video using Wand at 415 and then 420 with a ruby swap on water
With Boro it only needs an 800 with the wand and it's perfect
With Ruby you can cherry it a lot more with a torch and not worry about combustion as much, it's easier to combust with boro and a torch
Ruby and a torch I don't have to...
It gives a performance improvement
But the cleaning is also a big improvement with polished sic
Easy to mouth moistened qtip clean after a dab
Only some titanium will set off an IH usually you need SS
But going from quartz to Ti would be going backwards imo anyway
The sic is an upgrade for...
It's a grinder, I've been pretty thorough
I've put shitloads through it
If you've been reading this thread I mentioned a few times I love my BCG
And that I have a regular bcg with a fine plate that may be different to a large and medium plate
Also I cleaned it like new to test and be fair and...
It was a .5g load
That is all my bcg will take before being over loaded - so I did the same as a comparison
There's actually quite a few people sharing pictures of gummed up BCGs
I also get bits stuck in the groove where the plastic slide sits
The bcg cuts, but gets gummed up and holds some of...
With the reject bin model I have the brand and picture look very good while spinning
Creates patterns and almost a hologram look
To me the top needs at least two places with something on it for the visual spinning effects
I look at this grinder spinning more than stationary like others, so my...
Pics can't be uploaded here
I have elsewhere
My bcg gummed up after a full clean in a few days
The OMD is still grinding with ease
I posted a video above
My small bcg does not compete with the speed of the OMD or the non stick
I find the full surround heating works better for me with washers underneath as well as wall heating
A puffco peak OG polished sic dish from jcvap fits the Daab reclaim cup
You smash open two Daab cups to get the metal sleeve
Cut down the side and using a hammer forge the sleeve around a boot...
Swapped out for ruby - just needs a little extra heat time
405/410 X2 heatup time for ruby
800 X1 heatup for stock Boro balls
Any wand should work, I insert it from the bottom and hold it just on/below the lip and get perfect results so glass tolerance shouldn't be an issue
Sesh goes for...
John said people should be able to log in now
If they can't it was because they reset the site and you may need to make your account again
Or you may need to just confirm it is you via your email - this is to prevent the bots making accounts
The system is up and running again anyway
And...
Beast mode activated
The wand set on 800 and timed out was perfect for a first run
Great extraction, good flavour, excellent clouds with only one heat cycle
No copper or added extras
Nice avb
The wand makes it a no brainer for timing
I do want to give the torch a go just so I can "cherry...
That's my pic
Yea sliced through super smooth and easy
Great stand and has a handle so you can carry/move while hot if needed
Here's a couple bowls with the Chiroma
Balls below the coil could be improved, but it extracts fully once dialled like all ballers should
I stained the ruby once with feco using the wrong rig by accident (my beta unit is dedicated to such now on the sic)
Iso and the SS brush provided cleaned it up no worries
No scratches or stains left, polished up clean with qtips
I've never scorched it up with rosin though same as you mention...
The base of the grinder has finger grip scallops
The top does also
It's made to fit the hand ergonomically
The reject bin model I have doesn't have the same scallops as the refined version and is still easy to grip
Ben has a friend who is making 3d printed grips that can be slipped over the...
If buying a whole pockety 30% off is more than $20 - it's closer to half off the original price before it reduced
If you are just buying a chamber I understand
ALN is great, have to say my ruby has been the winner though in the long run
It's not a key logger, the attacks have been robots...
This is brilliant mate
So happy to hear you've got the legalities and payment issues sorted
It must have been a real headache
I have been absolutely loving the reject bin model and shared a couple videos on other channels people have been liking
I may make a YouTube for people to see it in...
Yes I have mentioned about the log in issue to John
A couple people said this
It will be because of the site reset for security
I mentioned it to John today, it's Saturday this side of the world so it may take him a little longer to reply to me
The Christmas sale code for 20% is added...
