The difference in the overall size of the unit seems slight, but the increase in performance and vapor quality is no slight upgrade.

The Z is a hell of a vape. That slight increase in heater size sure as hell makes for high quality vapor.

Very exciting. I got a Odin 2 and Novae 2. I am charging them both up fully now prior to use. Not a lot of time to test tonight but i am sure ill run a ton of bowls through both this weekend. More to come.

My grasshopper has been in warranty for over 5 months. I just asked for an update and i was told at least another 30 to 60 days.

Probably no help but have you tried taking off the splinter and than screwing it back on again? Maybe a poor connection?

Wow this thread is moving quick. No time to catch up on others impressions at the moment but just wanted to say WOW the newest Splinter is fucking amazing. I had two very early betas but i am noticing a huge difference in vapor quality and heat. Much cooler, very impressive.

I should have a final updated Splinter come Monday. Looking forward to see how the thicker glass and other updates effect performance.

Problem i see is that stealth discreet convection vapes are not well suited for session style vaping with a group of 4 people. Sortof one option here or the other IMO.

I prefer 62's in conjunction with a hygrometer while monitoring. Once stabilized they can also be used for long term care free storage IMO.

Too early to tell as i mixed the plate rosin with the drip rosin on both runs. Color appeared the same but i admit although i have good vision i have issues seeing very slight color variations and the lighting wasn't perfect. This is something i will look to answer in future runs. Had the...
