Thinking of options should the power cord fail...
Would a printer cord plugged into a receptacle thats on a dimmer switch allow temperature control?
Say you have a wall sconce or ceiling light turned on by a dimmer switch, you could take out the bulb screw in a plug adapter to plug in the...
Been wanting to try aging some in a bourbon barrel. Hard to find a smallish bourbon barrel. Thought about buying a one gallon barrel aging whiskey in it and then maple syrup. Ultimately I wanted take the used whiskey/maple syrup barrel to a local brewery that makes an excellent stout to have it...
Been spending time in the sugar shack lately boiling sap for maple syrup. No electricity out there but the E-Nano still serves me well thanks to the ABV.
I often wake up in the middle of the night to throw a little wood in the stove. I have to stay up a little while to let the fire get going good before I can close down the air to the fire some and go back to sleep. It's at this time I very much appreciate the Nano ready to go. It seems that...
I suspect the wood can shrink more than the metal allows. Though I wouldn't rule out a combination of the two. I wonder if it happens more during the heating season when the air is dryer.
As testimony to the power of shrinking wood, (sheesh that sounds weird.) I made a stand for my nano from a...
I use the adjustable stem. Sometimes I load it with a tiny piece of bud. Usually I break up the bud enough to remove the twiggy bits. Other than the Epic Pic I don't own a grinder.
I only load enough for one comfortable toke.
Set at about 6.5.
I also await 4/20 to add a walnut nano...
Perhaps you're right, wish I had a few extra nanos and a little better wood shop to experiment.
Seems that if it were because the metal's expansion there would be an even easier solution.
I use mine too much to take it apart. Are there any pictures of a dismantled nano online?
I wonder if more surface area to dissipate heat would help prevent the occasional nano from cracking.
Likely be a little cooler to the touch.
Be interesting experiment. Though I suspect it may have already been tried.
Cheers all! As I raise my nano to toast.
Spent another rainy day yesterday enjoying the nano cannabis delivery system and playing in unreality on the computer.
Produced a 3D Nano sorta steampunked.
I have my Nano plugged into a switched outlet and have switched it off for the toke and it seemed to work fine.
Now you got me thinking... Think I'll go try a few hits just to make sure. Ok, ok I'll admit it's just an excuse.
White LSD, nice flavor.
Pipe dreaming (make that Nano dreaming)
So during the last rainy stretch, stuck inside with the computer, the Nano and some fine Rainy Day Women I doodled up a concept of a semi wireless Nano with a magnetic power connector.
I used double sided tape. Velcro would be good.
Your method works good. Tape it down and no one will mess with the setting.
Indeed, the controller is one reason I made a stand.
Only thing I would change now is to have another foot or so of wire.
Think I'll go visit the Nano for some AK47.
