@Hackerman it would appear you've found something that gives you joy. Bashing DV. It would appear that some of it is deserved based on the current feedback we're seeing on these parts. However, your initial problem of a loose cap was entirely fixable with your own two hands. You chose not to do...

The 'heating cycles' with the top hats during a session are definitely a bit different. But overall I'm noticing shorter pre-heats, especially after the first heating cycle, and not holding button down as long on any heating cycle. The first draw is flavor and a nice amount of vapor, then hits...

Man reading this thread can get expensive. I tried @Squiby's advice about shaping Liquid Pads to fit vapcaps, and then tested the technique with some Crown Royal oil while I read the past two pages on the thread. About the fucking Vaponic. Mods-you could have saved me $50+ if you'd have flagged...

I'm just happy I didn't send you the dirty ones. Cuz I wouldn't have had them to mess around with when I was stoned off my ass and my ADHD was looking for something to do after midnight. Rarely do my after-midnight ideas yield results in the day-to-day. I've talked to a couple other...

I got a spinning Ti mouthpiece and it made a bit of sound at first, but after a few uses the sound is gone. I'd try beeswax or saliva. Cuz you're right it does look fly to have the Ti MP on a Carbon Fiber stem. XL is sexy. Sizer matters.

@Hackerman All caps are a little loose when new-it use to frustrate me too. But it's something even the folks at Dynavap World Headquarters do. Just give it a bit of a squish. Then fill the tip with something that will make you smile, and then...well...I hope you smile. It sucks to be...

So...Regarding my top hat screen use. It hasn't negatively affected my battery life. It's actually better. And here's why I think that's happening. The SS screen does in fact gather heat. And holds it, much longer than wood does. I've got SS vpacaps and Ti vapcaps and the SS holds heat much...

@ohmygodimsohigh I've been waiting for you to do something on the vapcap. You seem well suited to it. I'm from the midwest too-Michigan, Central Wisconsin, and Northern IL. Having lived and toured all over the country there is something genuinely kind and generous about folks from that part of...

That's how I'd been using the screens that came with the LB. And I liked it. But the top hats work even better. For me. Not sure why, but I'd guess they just work better for the way I grind, load, tamp, draw and use the button. Everybody's formula for success is a little different. Which is why...

@Squiby one more round of applause for great advice. I got my Aomai lighters today; one really slim silver one and a bit larger red one. Really nice; my hands like that I don't have to hold the flame button down, and I really don't miss the piezo click. I'm going to 'pair' the silver one with...

I think I may have used the wrong phrase; I think what I'm using are actually top hats. Not domed. My bad. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073WQJYRS/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

And I did something just the opposite and I love that too. Last night, after a very, very long day that started at 4am and didn't end until after midnight, I thought that I should try out a domed screen on the LB. Holy fuck. For the way I grind, load, and draw this works the best for me. I'd...

I'm up quite early today. I made some changes in my bedroom/studio and my cats decided to investigate every new nook and cranny the changes elicited at 4:30am this morning. I putter around, make the bed, make coffee and then peruse the thread to find my inconvenience to be NOTHING to complain...

There may be better ways to prepare for a busy day ahead than with the Lil' Bud with a fresh batt, clean screen, and well-ground and tamped Blue Dream with a side order of Amnesia Haze. But I'll be damned if I can think of one...especially now. Have a great day FCers.

I only have one: the original Portside. It's the bomb. But it's really for around the house and on the porch/deck. I've tried taking it out and about, but I've not found a secure place for it in either of our family vehicles. I think the Portside Mini works well in the car from what I've seen...

@Lady V you are discovering why many of us think of @Squiby as the Goddess of the Dynaverse. About 90% of what I've learned about Dynavap has come from her missives which are always clear and concise and so, so generous. I'll be out and about more as spring becomes spring, so at Squiby's...

Portable (at home), efficient, easy-to-handle vape?

@Squiby makes a really solid case for the vapcap, and I don't disagree at all. I have several and they provide about 75% of my vaping experiences. They are exceedingly efficient at extraction, and I think if you get the Aomai lighter she suggests, that you'll be very discrete when out and...

I would caution patience. There are a handful of alpha units out for testing. After that comes beta testing and then there will be tweaking and a launch. I think it could be as early as July 4th, but it could be as late as Labor Day in September. They won't bring it to market until they're...

Portable (at home), efficient, easy-to-handle vape?

@lazylathe Grasshopper recommendations should really come with a bit more transparency don't you think? Especially for new folks. IMO. @johnny_jungle if you're going to even consider the Grasshopper please review that thread.
