Which native vapes really cool/tone the vapor

Mine bit into a couple of wrappers early on, but after a bit of use it hasn’t been an issue at all anymore. If you want to use it more I would try either leaving a battery in for a while or taking one that’s too worn out to use anymore and insert it, leave it for a while and remove it until it...

    TinyMight / TM 2

I think most of your questions were answered, but I didn’t see an answer to this one. The PCB is not in the main air path, but there is a small hole for the post the heater is mounted on, so the PBC is not completely isolated and some air can come through from it. From what I’ve seen this kind...

The cases are an optional accessory though, so if anyone bought a Toad and wants a case but didn’t order one, talk to Dan while he’s making them!

Which desktop heavy are you most excited about?

In English another way to say that is “play”, like “There is some play in my VRod head because my coil is too short to fill the space inside.” So it’s almost the same as in French. :) I don’t hear it a lot, but in some places I think it’s still a popular way of describing looseness.

Sorry @invertedisdead ! This was a great design overall and it sucks I never got to try it, but I look forward to seeing the next one you’re working on. :)

In case you didn’t already know, these are (as far as I know) still made by one guy, and since the the 7 has become so popular they’re pretty hard to get. He can’t even make enough to keep them in stock on his own site, let alone supply retail outlets! I think it’s worth trying to get one...

Hijacked Member Account Posting Classified To Scam

He hadn’t posted in a year or more, so I doubt that he would suddenly show up again just to run that kind of scam. This has happened with other accounts recently too, so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t him. You’re right though, that wasn’t the best account for the scammer to use! Seeing that name...

    The Toad from Morwood

Even in recent posts Dan still calls the slower* heater “low”. The only heater just called “medium” was never publicly offered and it was very similar to the new “high”. :) The old “medium/low” terminology is what might make it a little confusing or hard to remember. *I don’t know if that’s...

    The Toad from Morwood

@Ramahs When Dan first started making a second heater he called the new one “high/medium” and the original “medium/low”, and then he tested a “medium” which I think is actually the new “high” or something close to it? I think the current “low” is still the original “low/medium”. Hopefully that...

    The Nomad From Morwood

That one was claimed by @Caelar900 and it doesn’t use the wood combination suggested above, but it still looks great. I hope we get shots of it in the wild too, or at least maybe Dan has pics of it all put together! Here’s the post:

    Looking at power hitters

If you want a *new* FW7 time may be running out. I don’t know when the FW8 will be released, but speculation has been late this year, and when it is released the 7 will probably be done. On the bright side, the 8 will probably be very similar to the 7 but with improvements, so unless you care...

All the time you have the head on the bowl you’re heating the bowl up, so if you want to add a conduction element that’s the way to do it (at possible risk to your glass, so using a drop-down or other adapter is probably a good idea). If you want to stay pure convection you should hit it as...

    The Toad from Morwood

Last time I remember @Dan Morrison posting about batteries he was using and liking P26As, so I’d take that as a pretty strong recommendation for them with Nomads and Toads at least. If there’s something new that looks good on paper though, it might be worth a shot. :)

Sorry man, I read your previous message as like “yeah, we see this all the time and we’ll fix it” when I guess it was “yeah, we see this all the time, sucks to be you”. PayPal sucks. :cuss:

I don’t think Dynavap has any ceramic products, do they? I think dish soap could work, and it should be okay for the glass parts, but again I’d worry about residue from the soap being left in the porous ceramics. I’d rather not heat and inhale whatever might be in my dish soap.

@kel ‘s right about sellers getting screwed over by PayPal too. F&F is more of a risk for buyers, but as a seller I had someone dispute a charge months after shipping, so PayPal held like $400 for weeks. I think after I sent proof of shipping the buyer may have stopped responding or something...

This may be the wrong thing to do and bad advice, so someone please tell me if it is, but I actually felt more comfortable using Everclear instead of iso to clean the ceramic. I figured with a porous surface, using something less toxic would be a better idea. If you successfully burn it off...

Yeah, he’s talked about future batches here already, but he was taking feedback about the first round process and it seemed pretty positive. :) Until he says something different, I assume this is still the place to note your interest.

I usually just cover the screen, and I think that’s the best option for high temps so you don’t strip out all the flavor before the rest of the cannabinoids. I also like to fill the bowl maybe half way and set the temp in the mid-high 500s (usually 555-585). That’s with the VRod or ShowerHead...
