I missed that vid, but can go find it. I actually am quite impressed with ZZTop after taking a closer look at their music and act. I think what is most amusing to me is how long its taken me to notice them. I mean, I'm from Billy's home town and used to regularly hang out at the Last Concert...
I guess this is as good a place as any to talk about this. Over the last few weeks, I have had a major life energy shift, I had been seriously stuck in a musical rut for the last few years. Though I always enjoyed playing, there seemed to be something lacking deep in the core of it all. I don't...
Lookin' good there Cheese :science: My single showerhead is about the same size as your tree perc, and it is surprisingly stable, with the sub/buddy on top, though out of caution, I don't really plan to use it with that way very often. Glad those pieces are working out for you guys!
:o Oh no, how did that happen? joint get stuck or something? I have not been putting the sub on my showerhead bub really, mostly use it with my HI log vape which is tiny. Sorry for your loss, but as you say at least it wasn't much of one.
I don't know how it will be starting on bass first, but I find it to be a back seat ride compared to playing bluegrass guitar rhythms. It will help with time keeping and understanding the songs, as a precursor to playing guitar. I'm coming from the other direction having started with guitar...
This is for a good condition blue pax. I bought it about a year ago, but haven't used it for several months. It functions fine, though as with all pax, they tend to perform less consistently if you don't keep them clean and lubed regularly. It will ship charged, cleaned, and ready to use. Asking...
I will say the pipesdaddy "infamous $40" bubbler is a nice little piece for the price. It is pretty small but the two I have both look about the same, one is a little nicer made than the other, but otherwise identical. I find it to be an excellent "pocket" piece for travel. If you are looking to...
I've found that if I turn them upside down, they stand better, the lid is more weighted, and doesn't flip easy. I just give the lid a good tap before opening it, to knock any loose herbs that might be in the lid back down.
aw thats too bad deadhead, sorry you got a bad one with that tree perc. I do feel I got exceptionally lucky on that showerhed being so well positioned. I am curious to see if any more showerheads turn up in as good of condition. At least its a low risk on these cheap pieces, though would be...
I had to put my tracking # into the USPS system to see any results... I imagine that is active once it lands on US soil and gets scanned in.
OOOH good find on that single showerhead Deadshort. I am tempted to get another, it's my favorite piece out of the 3 I got on the last batch.
I like to stuff a little abv from the previous load in that dead zone before I load my fresh. I just pack down a pinch or so before loading. Haven't noticed any effect on flavor having it down there.
Those look great so far Ed, I like the matching natural unfinished (the same one I have) and that darker one also looks really nice. I am looking forward to more progress on this. :)
Just ran across this in the classifieds, for $80... if I had the cash I'd snatch it up myself... looks like a good deal. http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/price-reduced-80-almost-new-water-pipe-18-mil-connection.11088/

Sold at asking price.
I have a very good condition, lightly used Teak Vapor Genie Hand Carved pipe/vaporizer. Its been well taken care of, and shows only a little use around the top of the metal ring where you see a few scorch marks on the wood from the lighter. I have cleaned it and it has no...
I ended up cutting a screen to fit the hole and just wedged it in there at the opening of the underside of the nipple, using the cleaning tool inserted into the other end of the mouthpiece to act as a block, and help position it in place, I just suspended it in the opening. A little dirty, I...
