My StemPod ended up in the 'drawer'. :(
No offense guys but the Splinter killed the StemPod.
The Good:
The StemPod presentation was awesome (wood case especially). The customer service was incredible. The build quality was tip top (no rattles or other mfgr defects). Standard size stems and...
@stardustsailor , hopefully, I am not too off topic but since the thread is technical in nature, I will ask.....
On the SJK 'dental' induction heaters the wire used to make the coil is very small and is wrapped many many times around the coil (dozens, it looks like).
What is the difference...
Big thanks to both @stardustsailor and @mr_cfromcali for those posts. After reading Fluxer's explaination, it made the papers that SDS posted very easy to understand.
Thanks to the 2 of you, I now have a complete understanding of what's happening.
Isn't there another component that would have...
When I make canna butter or oil, I usually use some kind of flower (vs rosin). When I strain it through the cheesecloth my old fucking arthritis wrists and hands can't squeeze hard enough to get all the butter/oil out of the weed so I take the cheesecloth ball and I put it between two large...
SOLD!!!
LOL
Can't wait.
Love the tilt and the idea of one temperature control. Why have 2 temperature controls, anyway? Does anyone set their bottom plate to a different temperature then their top plate? LOL
I can't wait for this baby to start munching on my buds. :)
Thanks for the update.
Hey @nadia_epic does the outside of the E-Nano always have to be wood?
I was swapping my aluminum stand and my cherry stand to see which one looked better with my Cherry E-Nano when I realized how nice it would be to have a SILVER E-Nano to match my silver stand.
I would love an E-Nano with a...
If all other factors are the same..... I would go with the 3x5 caged over the 3x3 plates.
Why?
I have the 3x7 and I very often do simple 1 gram presses. No puck, no nothing. Heat 'em up. Press a couple buds. Turn it off.
Yet, there are some limitations to smaller plates like 3x3 vs my giant...
Well, most of that is Greek to me but if you say so..... that's good enough for me.
Just seemed like there was a lot of talk about failing FETs.
Thanks
Damn!!! Now, THAT I understood. If you are, indeed a teacher, you are a very good one. Thank you very much for that wonderful explanation. :)
I have a question for @HealthyRips.com .
I have been looking at the ArGo since just before you announced the Fierce. When you announced the Fierce with a glass mouthpiece, I waited on the ArGo.
One of the reasons I don't buy the ArGo is because there have been numerous comments about the glass...
I have a question. And, I may not be understanding properly so correct me if I'm wrong.
The drivers that @Pipes is using seem to have a regular fail rate of the FETs. Correct?
If yes, continue. If no, skip the rest and move on. LOL
If yes,
Are you using the same drivers?
Do we know why...
I believe they have 1 new model coming out the middle of next month and another model shortly thereafter.
I have not heard that one is going to be round. I would like that. One of my home made prototypes had round plates and I liked it a lot but being home made, I had quality problems. If...
I have that same setup except I went with the 12 ton press instead of the 20 ton. It was only a few dollars cheaper but, more importantly for me, it is a tiny bit smaller than the 20 ton as well.
Any way you go, it's an incredible setup. I have the option of pressing 1 tiny little bud or an...
LMAO..... OK, I get it now. ;)
I never even read that part of his post. It looked like a signature and I walked right passed it.
Damn, talk about late to the party. LMAO
No problem bud. Not a hard time. I just didn't get what I said that was funny. Still don't. LOL
Anyway, that's why you get a buzz from the leftover water. If you are only using a 73u bag, a ton of the trics are still in the water.
My 110 bag just filters what comes out of the washing machine...
