    Are U.S Airports Secure Enough?

I can only speak for Midway and O'Hare in Chicago, but this was discussed way back when we originally brought in the TSA and whatnot. They implemented a secondary background check, same for airport staff, as well as whatever company they work for does the standard background check. However...

Wow, talk about a change of terms. I for one am not ignorant, but I heartily disagree with (obviously) the dominant political theories in this forum. Does that mean I should be silenced? Or is the simple fact I don't agree with what a few people have decided what is best I'm ignorant in spite...

    Are U.S Airports Secure Enough?

Are you kidding me? Multiple bombers have made it past security. Remember the underpants bomber? The only reason he didn't blow that whole plain is his wiring got screwed up. Or there's this fun report showing how the TSA screenings missed explosives and weapons in 67 out of 70 attempts...

Brexit - The Great British EU Dilema

And that right there is proof enough to me that the EU is a child's game. With all the hopes and dreams it may wish to uphold, when someone tries to hold them accountable and they play that card, they've shown their whole hand IMO. Edit note: This was not specifically commentary on Brexit...

If we would apply efficiency principles (similar to what many non-profits currently do to maximize their spend) and use programs like Six Sigma and KanBan events to reduce redundancies and actually hold government employees accountable instead of lifetime appointments. I want the government to...

(oh good lord I can't believe I'm about to argue in favor of something related to Trump, but I feel this is one instance where its worth it. JUST ONCE) I think one thing this article overlooks is that what Trump wants to do to get skilled workers back to work is make America more competitive...

Oh trust me, I hate corporate welfare infinitely more than the bloated social welfare system. At least some money gets to people that need it, no matter how inefficiently. The amount of money given to corporations that have no business to it is infinitely worse. And I am not arguing against...

It's the way things were before we decided the government should pay for everything. It was the way the US worked for almost 160 years before we started adding welfare and social services. And if you look at the history of economic mobility, it started to stagnate shortly after most social...

They want people to take care of their community by choice, not the government by force. We have turned from a society of charity to a society of government programs. And government redistribution is NOT charity. I'll use the case study of Joe Biden. I out-donated to charities by a factor of...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Is the idea behind the balloon/bubbler to not have to wait for full vapor production from a direct draw? It seems like an extra step as opposed to just connecting the bubbler via a whip or something, especially since the bag and whip would likely have the same "negatives" on the purity of...

What you've described is greed, not capitalism. True capitalism involves proper allocation of resources, long term planning, maximizing strengths, bartering to compensate for weaknesses. Read "Wealth of Nations." It's entirely different from the current approach.
