I haven't been using my claisen yet, since I have the cloudbuddy, but if it makes you feel any better there is a secton of glass on my Cloudbuddy that looks like the oil is beading up instead of evenly dispersing like the section next to it. Might just be really well made glass??? not really...

I'm using a simillar O ring but it's heat resistant, came from thermovape and is orange. I just rolled it up the reducer to act as a seal/spacer seems to work just fine :) I did get one of those black O rings for the solo stem and use it on another reducer for a different piece ;)

Does that torch keep a steady flame when upside down? That seems to be the trouble most of my torches have, being tipped interrupts the flow and they tend to sputter out.

MIne isn't really a good fit either, I had to put an O ring on my reducer to raise it up a few mm so it would fit.

Keep in mind, if they show sold out right now, it could be due to them pulling inventory from the storefront so they don't get swamped while on holiday... I'd keep checking the site after Feb 9 :2c:

it's fairly small, mine, the can stands about 5 1/2" and the mouthpiece tip is just under the 9" mark with about a 3 1/2" base. I feel the perc in mine is low enough to function well. I do enjoy this one, esp. with the lotus. It's not much on looks, all parts are a bit off center, but it hits well.

:lol: I think about that every time a link is posted for something good. Suddenly they get a bunch of sales all at once... I'm sure they appreciate the business, but they must wonder WTF too :dog:

Thanks for that HC review SSVUN~YAH I had eyeballed that piece many times before finding the aliex/dhgate stuff. Though I still feel the draw, I think i have satiated my GAS enough for now to keep a handle on it, though I am still actively watching for the next great find! That funky worked up...

Jelly PR!! :luv: I love all those little guys!! The only "worked up" small piece I have is this mushroom micro bubbler that was designed for combustion, made for me over 10 years ago for a crocheted hat trade. I converted it to work with my HI.

You can thank Alibaba for that knock off... I found it there too. Doubt it will be anywhere close to the quality you get with the real Lotus. Looks like it's on a site devoted to ecig/pens mostly. Watch for hex screws on the plate if you are unsure about authenticity, that fake has X philips...

That's sick PR I love the mini's... btw... been loving both pieces I won, the blaze rig pairs well with my LOtus and the DEA bub's functioning quite well with the added showerhead downstem, I do enjoy them daily :)

I'm glad to have one of those claisen adapters too, such a great price considering my cloud buddy was over $40, not really sure who first posted about them, but I appreciate the tip, and glad to pass it on...
