Biggest difference comes down to the draw restrictions between these devices.
Splinter draw is more restricted the fine mesh used in intake screen restrict the the draw speed. This does a great job controlling scorching and produces quality vapors with no addition breath control needed by user...
@P.A.M. If you where seeing Off sounds like cold OHMS where incorrect on it. Think most iheats are around .34. Let iheat cool the remeasure it is seeing Off warning.
I'm trying to follow above. I think it sounds like it remeasure when loaded the iheat profile and your no longer seeing off...
The reason I updated them was felt after last service pack the splinters where running too warm. If you can check your service packs for me that be great. Mine are running DA250c SP38, DNA250 SP#6 and the DNA75c is SP33.2.
Also running escribe version 2.0 SP19 international version.
If using...
Not sure @mistvaporizer The only info received been from PayPay. Bought it on 3/21 and been in pre-ship status since 3/30 says awaiting package.
Guess figure it be here sometime next week :)
Humm can you check under setting there a place to toggle the setting. Either way I'll go back and check it should be set to puff.
I also haven't adjusted it yet in the Triade file sorry working on that one still. I though I removed it from FCSHARE well updating did it allow you to download it...
The dusty shelf collection :) I always value your input @KeroZen it was yours and other members thoughts and impression that helped me make up my mind to purchase the imp.
Plus I never did get around to owning a misvape. It was on my radar but my tastes moved into the TC realm with the 510...
I did change the main screen from volts amps to show peak temperature and puff time. Felt that info more pertained to our uses. There a setting to go back if rather have the old info displayed it's on device under settings.
Went back and checked the splinter file and felt was running bit on the coolside so switched files. To save future confusion did away with splinterZa an B. Renamed material files to reflect change to those files.
I also updated theme to Franks.
Yes DNA use TRF instead in material files.
If...
Np have start with the basic and was concerned with possibility that cold OHMS got entered incorrectly. Sounds like this isn't issue you are experiencing. I recently changed that material file for service pack 38 in the DNA250c. Can you check what service pack you have installed? The older...
In TC mode you uses whatever wattage is needed to maintain the temperature regardless of draw speed. I use under 10 watts in cruise to maintain 400 degrees. This same setup I can use over 50 watts of power durning a huge draw to just maintain the same 400 degrees.
With wattage the...
Awesome to hear it's working I was afraid you where feeling some buyer remorse. Hopefully this helps that turns it joy instead.
I also would like to see some pics. :)
Easywider is correct escribe default is .006 I don't know why defaults to around nickels TCR on it's first use. After you set a value the next time you open it will defaults to last value entered.
Most of issue tend to stem from incorrect cold OHM's. The FCSHARE files should have forced you to...
Wow that's one awesome looking iheat @P.A.M. Picture don't always capture how beautiful these devices are, thanks for sharing. Excellent work @Alan she's a real beauty!
I can toss one together for you if needed (just PM me) but without a mod for testing I suggest doing it this way.
If you like the theme in FCSHARE version or just want try it download the DNA250c file. Open it in escribe without it connected to the DNA75. Save the theme.
Restart escribe then...
The original splinterZ where the 19/22. Since there are now 19/19 I changed the splinterZa to reflect the difference the 3mm makes. That one would work best when using a older SplinterZ with a 19/22 stem along with the the newer SplinterZ with the 19/19 stem.
In the new FCSHARE files both the...
Or what if it doesn't and blows up? Where already using these mods in a way not attended by the manufacture. Saving a buck isn't worth the risk IMHO if you're unsure of a mod quality and safety. I would at least research this mod before or if I had already purchased it.
Might be a moot point...
I have one of the older 19/22 splinters and I felt getting the splinterZ was a nice upgrade over it. I also heard good things about the splinter V.1 and V.2. So my experience might be a little bit outdated on the current difference between them. Im sure others can give you a better comparison...
When I see someone who's not getting the same level of performance that I know a device is capable of. It makes me want to be able to help them achieve the same. I'm super glad to hear it's now working for you, and you're enjoying the splinter even more:) Was a bit of a bumpy road, but now that...
