Just to be clear, I know they dont use a PID and have different technology than others but still.... the price is nuts. Ive had enough electronics designed and made to know what stuff costs.....
For you that may be true. Id use it at best once a month so the point of break even is much higher for me.
Id still buy one at a discounted price. Im glad I didnt get in early after seeing what Monsoon went through. Maybe Ill get a Gen 2 if the company is around that long.
Nice article.. I really wanted one of these and was on the waiting list but they had problems an I waited and now theyre $600.00. I dont want one that bad.
I think all their stuff was from China. Ive found pretty much every piece theyve sold on Chinese websites long before the whole Chinese craze got cranked up here.
You bought exactly what you should have bought. Dont even waste your time with the flat coil/universal nail. Go straight to the Liger.. its the best nail on the market for the money and I have a pretty extensive collection of nails.
Just to throw this in.. Auber's flat coil doesnt quite have a 10mm opening in the middle. Some nails require that. Just keep that in mind when buying coils.
Has this thing gone up to $600 now or is it still available at a lower price? I was considering one when it looked like the kinks were worked out but now its $600.00. That has made me push pause on purchasing one.
I have a Dnail control unit now but Ive owned a bunch of enails. Dont waste your money on Dnail. They all work about the same. I havent seen any better temperature control out of my $300 Dnail compared to my $70.00 Auber (Or whatever they cost now). I had another unit from Terpz and it was right...
