It is easier being patient when you have a lovely LB to hold. But I look at what Mike is doing the same way I look at one-man guitar builders. It pays to be patient-you just can't rush hand made crafts.
If you want it fast get a plastic factory-made vaporizer from an on-line store.
I sure have...
@Bravesst have you thought about using the battery door with an accent color. A Walnut door with an all Cherry body/switch box would pop, or you could match the accent switch box & battery door with matching woods..
Just a thought.
Well...this thread is moving like a snail. About the same pace that I'm going through my concentrates.
But if anyone cares...I have been enjoying my Dabox with some of the new stuff I got last month. The water adapter isn't a fail, but it's not a huge success for me either.
I don't like the...
@stardustsailor wow-very cool. And I LOVED your post regarding Ti dust a page or so ago. I lost my shit when I read that. You gotta love science. Thanks friend. Once I get through the recording process I'm going to PM you and figure out which of your many wonderful designs I should invest in.
For you. And I'm really happy you've find a stem that's the best for you.
I'm going to remain a wood purist as it relates to the LB, and in time, the Timber. I have experience with wood vapes with glass stems, and wood vapes with wood stems, and my personal preference is all-wood.
But I'm...
There's something about watching all this happen in real time that makes me happy. Seeing someone grow in their craft and processes is exciting. And we're all the beneficiaries.
@bossman I am too. But more for increased control. I've always laughed when people talk about draw restriction in...
I use all my vc's through water. I picked up a tip last week about cutting up fat mouthpieces to use as o-rings to make native vc's into vongs. It works great. I also cut up pieces to cover the air inlet and they worked great too. I've experimented using both covered and uncovered, and they work...
@Bravesst Given you don't have blems very often they might become collector's pieces. You should consider charging more for them.
Loving my Cherry LB-we've grown close. And watching this thread is exciting because everything that's happening on the LB front is just adding to my anticipation of...
I've been enjoying the holidaze with family. And digging the shit out of my vapcaps through water.
After I realized what I could do with a chopped up Fat Mouthpiece all my vapcaps are a form of vong; I've got one piece covering the air inlets on my carbon fiber XL and '18 XLM, and another piece...
I'm sorry I did miss that. I did file the '18 tips, and it's working for me. I left the '18 tip on my stock M the way it is. I love mouth pulls with the M natively. I find that doing lung pulls is easier and more effective with the tips filed. I was definitely getting more vapor per heating...
This...this is a beautiful, wonderful hack. Like, why haven't I thought of this myself kinda cool.
After I read this I was frantic trying to find a Fat MP. I thought maybe I'd tossed them in a recent clean up cuz I never use them. But luckily I found a couple and very quickly made three...
I hear you, but I think that attorneys may have advised vape makers that saying the device should be cleaned meant the company had sent out an unsafe device in the first place.
Personally, I think devices intended for medical use should be mailed clean in a sealed, air-tight package and ready...
Yep, that's all they say-and really doing a couple of dry heat cycles just gets the oil warmed up enough to fuck with you. I don't get it.
After you learn about doing burn-offs or cleaning metal vapes with ISO and a rinse it seems like duh? But people moving from smoking to vaping don't know...
Too lazy to go back to see who doesn't clean their new vapes, and thought that was cool, but this is something of a sore spot for me towards vape companies in generaL, not just towards Dynavap.
I'm a pretty smart guy and do my research, but nowhere did I hear I should clean my vapes either by...
I decided to go back to the screens originally intended for the LB. I'm happy I did.
I'm noticing better flavor and response. It's probably as close to 100% convection as you can get-I think I was getting some conduction from the top hat screens that have way more mass than the SS screens Mike...
