    The Toad from Morwood

@Dan Morrison I had no idea wood expanded/contracted that much from atmospheric humidity! I'm hardly an expert though--did a few "shop" type classes in HS but that is about the extent of my woodworking knowledge and experience. I'm always curious if stainless vs glass makes a real difference...

    The Toad from Morwood

For the long stems have you considered/experimented with wood lined with glass? Not quite as cooling probably and trickier to do things like angled bends (no idea how you'd line bent glass tbh...) but from a flavor purity standpoint its arguably as good as it gets?

    Dynavap VapCap

I assume some of you have seen this already, but in case you haven’t @khelek41girl put together a pretty incredible dynavap ensemble: Echoing the Reddit comments, “if you aren’t vaping through mammoth tooth in 2021 what are you even doing with your life?” 🤣 (Actually at first I thought it was...

    Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

The grain coloring on this is gorgeous. Is it canarywood?

I've always heard those and the VTC6 are great--my list was by no means intended to be comprehensive, just pointing out an alternative and one on the list @Polyphone mentioned that were in stock at a couple of reputable battery sellers. I would think the Sony would be fine!

    Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

@Polyphone 18650 battery store and Li Ion wholesale both have the Molicell P26A and 25R in stock. I'm not familiar with unregulated vapes enough to know if the higher CDR than the other batteries you mentioned would be a draw back, but Mooch's tests otherwise generally confirm that the...

    Plug in vapes?

Yeah I have to agree with @Shit Snacks, not aware of any desktops that are ready to go as soon as they are fired on (Ed also claims 5 minutes for the woodscents up to 6 or 7 on the stock dial, I just prefer to err on the side of caution and give it 10). Again, though, while I don't leave my...

    Plug in vapes?

Yeah I can't speak to what is all out there, but that was the only point I was making--aside from portability, a big advantage that I see in some portables is the truly "instant" nature of their heat up allowing for temp stepping to be more practical. Taking a hit at temp a from my woodscents...

Might just be the lighting, but the grain coloring on that first pic is absolutely beautiful 😍

    Plug in vapes?

Can you temp step in a reasonable time frame though? With the tp80 and similar mod-based vapes you can go from 360 to 380 almost instantly as the coils are relatively low mass. I can change the setting on my log like that, but it needs to reach thermal equilibrium at 380 before it’s really ready...

    Plug in vapes?

I only have experience with a log, but yes I think in some ways they are better than portables. After powering them on they take a few minutes (I go with 10 to be sure things are up to temp) to heat soak and get everything to thermal equilibrium, but after that they're the definition of instant...

Tommy Chong Autographed XVape Aria Giveaway

Gotta go with the classic--https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuYeQi4wB_k (sadly the embed doesn't work ) Awesome giveaway @Stu, that's a fun conversation piece/piece of memorabilia!

All glass pathway - pocket sized vapes with fast extraction times?

Less certain I'd agree with this bit! I know that with silicone cook/bake ware the silicone can retain odors (I've always used a paste of water and baking soda to remove anything lingering, e.g. dishes where I use lots of garlic, never know when you'll run into a vampire). I guess in this case...

All glass pathway - pocket sized vapes with fast extraction times?

Are you guys referring to the OG stempod? I think that maintained an all SS (coils and the base of the heater, I forget the proper terminology in box mod vape terms) and glass airpath. The Si looks to be a silicone shell with no insulating glass or SS, so as they mention in their FAQ "The...

All glass pathway - pocket sized vapes with fast extraction times?

Sorry, is this all in regards to the stempod si? Again, its not an all glass vapor path (the body is silicone) so its maybe not relevant here but a couple of points that I think could be clarified as I've also looked into the Stempod as something that could take a beating (the only glass is the...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

You know that the Woodscents' default configuration is to plug into an outlet, right? It works pretty fantastically for very evenly extracted microdoses like that (I haven't seen any other vape get avb as even as my WS). I wouldn't necessarily get a Woodscents with the aim of it being...

All glass pathway - pocket sized vapes with fast extraction times?

I think @Shit Snacks covered most of the convection options at a variety of price points (the stempod si isn’t all glass tho, the original might be if you can find it?), but I’d have to agree with @Jill NYC that while the arizer vapes are session vapes and very different from a dynavap it will...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

Did you maybe inadvertently paste the wrong link? Not sure that phone battery would work so well either. Ed lists the specs needed (from the travel controller description, " Connect any USB-C PD compliant power source capable of 12V to the USB-C connection on the temperature controller and use...

    I need a good scale.

If you really want to overpay for a scale, the coffee world is in love with https://acaia.co/. I own the Lunar myself and it was a tremendous waste of $150 as my cheap generic amazon scale comes up with the same weights (though a bit slower, but as you didn't mention that you'd be making pour...

    Tetra P80

W2C hits a preset temp for a variable length of time to heat soak the boro tubes. Its 480 F and probably about the same in C. When you say that it drops after cruise, is it a temporary blip while the mod reads the resistance and calculates the wattage to supply to stay at your selected temp...
