What do you mix the Everclear with to drink it? That is some nasty tasting stuff. I tried Cranberry, Pineapple and just about every strong taste you can imagine and it still gags me.

I have the Sai, the Quartz Quest and the Motar. The Motar wins hands down.
Both the Sai and the QQ take forever to heat up and cool down. The quartz bowl on the QQ is easily twice as thick as the Motar and although that might seem good, it takes forever to heat up.

I use my Motar every day and absolutely love it. One of the differences that I have found between the Sai, the Quest and the Motar is the Sai and the QQ take a longer preheat time because the glass/quartz bowl is much thicker than the Motar.

We are on the same path, my friend. I am using the same 4 battery mod except I run mine at 20w. I also use a whip with mine. That huge battery pack and a whip make it a perfect table top setup. I still use mine every day. I's my daily go to for rosin.
All this chatter seeds the desire for a DIY digital cord. Shouldn't bee too hard to correlate wattage draw to approximate temp. A small, LED screen, a pot, a small case.......
