Hello Concerned Mother
I am a fan of squashing basket screens to make them fit tighter or make them shallower. I tend to use stems whenever possible, but with the virus thing we are using whips and glass pieces. The preferred pieces around here are a dry 10" straight tube bong and a dry 4...
Do you think this is a good idea to avoid any issues? .... In my case, no. From what I have seen in some situations some folks should. It's a case by case thing.
If you do have beer on the same day, is it best to wait X number of hours between to avoid issues? And if so how many hours? ...
I used to use ARIZER AIR 1 then moved to firefly 2+ .... Good to know, many people elect to purchase an Arizer EQ as their first desktop. I have never owned one, but they seem to have a decent reputation.

The Ddave parts will fit the LSV, of note the 18 mm angled wand which is one of my favorite replacements for the OEM transfer wand. The 14 mm parts work too if you use the included reducers.
One can use a little silicone sealer to tighten up the plug/socket. Just keep the sealer away from the electrical connections. May not be an easy thing to do but possibly worth pursuing or, send that sucker back to Epicvape.
