Alright dammit. I'm going to start saving for one. I answered every single damn question yes. And if you'd asked me that a couple of months ago I'd have said nope, not for me. But I've been paying attention.
At least the only vape that gives me VAS is the LB. I was thinking of getting another...
I don't get salad with a coarse grind. I'd had some issues before with a finer grind, but I definitely noticed an uptick in flavor when I removed the screen. The Solo is my flavor-chaser. Some of us don't have the budget for things like the Minivap.
The longer I have my Solo the more I enjoy it. It's such a lovely device. I still say it's the best $100 I've ever spent on anything cannabis related. And if I recall correctly it's on sale through the end of today, 2/28 for about $100. It's a no brainer.
I experimented with and without screens...
I don't think this gets said enough about the Lil' Bud, but the ability to load up a stem and then sip on it on and off over the course of a day is one of its finest attributes.
I loaded up a stem with CBD flower and a pinch of cannabis at about 10:30am and I just now finished the stem and it's...
As our friend @ataxian would say.
Civilized.
But I'm with @Dynalowrider go anhydrous. The longer vapor path cools, and if you have a glass of water nearby your throat never need get dry-plus you can collect the honey.
@P.A.M. I use the vapcap and LB very differently. I like to take my time with my LB. It can take me hours to finish off a stem. But partly because there's more flower in the LB stem, closer to .25g and I get huge thick clouds of tasty vapor.
I use my vapcaps almost exclusively through water...
Last night and again this morning I used my long cherry stem without glass lining. It's a great way to mix up the experience. The length does a great job for me with control and cooling, and it's a different flavor experience too. A bit more roasted, but still yummy and somehow it feels a bit...
I'm going condenserless so the tape is necessary for me.
@cybrguy I've been using wooden stems on my Lil' Bud, and never worry about cleaning them. When the time comes I'll swab the insides with a q-tip soaked in coconut oil and have a little honeysickle. But so far I've never had to touch my...
So last night as I was considering my Dynavap nightcap of Captain's Cake Cannabis and Pine Berry CBD flower I spotted my Cocobolo body laying amongst some things I have set aside for the classifieds.
And it dawned on me-with tape blocking the hole and without a condenser it could become a wood...
Thanks buddy. I'm here too, but more just the occasional like and lurk. My vapcap life is simple, and not as often as it was a year ago. I've gone very simple. DDave Water Wands, into a J Hook, or Sneaky Pete Globe anhydrous. Almost always at night when I'm trying to get the most out of an...
I don't clean nearly as much as I use to since I use @DDave Water Wands for 90% of my vapcap usage, but the tips still need to be cleaned every few months. I have 5 in rotation.
I tried a new way to clean them this afternoon. I soaked the tips in Everclear for a couple of hours, shaking them...
As I'm sure it's clear by my not being here often, I don't use my vapcaps nearly as much as I used to use them. It's not a critique of the vape as much as over the past year I've really found what I like and what works best for me.
But yesterday I had a moment where the vapcap was the perfect...
@Bravesst our edibles experiences are pretty similar, so I do think you'd enjoy the stem milk. It's pretty much the only daytime edible I ever try. Other than that edibles are for nighttime for me since they do help me sleep or deal with pain. Luckily I've not needed any nighttime sleep meds in...
@Bravesst that's a sweet deal.
For any of y'all that are using glass lined roasting tubes, I highly recommend making stem milk. I have two glass-lined stems from Alan that are about 4" long. I use each tube for about 2 weeks and then find a day that I can be high all day and make stem milk...
