Wow @vapman! Thank you for the history lesson. It's really cool to see the prototypes and learn some more about the evolution of the vapman.
Everytime I'm in the outback/bush I'm always on the look out for a special piece of wood to send to you. Problem is I don't know what I'm looking for...
Lol maybe we need to get him a glass mouth piece then?
Or maybe the vapman mouth piece will fit in a chilum. That might be enough to arouse his intrest?
;)
At the moment my budget won't allow me to get get an eds water pipe adapter so I just cram the middle section into a long 18/14 reducer.
When I first got my vapman I was heating while hitting when I used it with water. These days I like to take it a little slower.
The baccy bong crowd are a stubborn bunch indeed. Can't believe I used to be one of them.
I don't block the holes. I find I don't really need to. Sometimes I hold my vapman in a cupped hand with the middle section between my thumb and pointer finger. With your hand in this position you can...
Lots of us Aussies on the vapman band wagon :D
Like I've said before, the vapman is simple, effective and gets the job done everytime with minimal maintenance. Just the way we like things down here.
Can't wait to see it @KidFated.!! Purpleheart is awesome!!
@rosedale I think Alans vvps is probably one of the best things going atm. I love my voltage keeper too but it's a bigger upfront investment.
The vapman can be used with a 14mm j hook right out of the box. Always a fun option.
I personally think I get better flavour from my vapman.
I use the lotus 90% of the time with water and the vapman 90% of the time dry so that might skew my perspective a bit.
The vapman has 3 small holes in its middle section which inject cool air into to vapor stream. It makes for nice cool vapor. It can be a little warm if you are having back to back bowl in a long session. 1 bowl is usually enough to get most people where they want to be. If you heat it for 4...
Welcome @macca924. Congratulations on your purchase. You will love it.
I only have only used oil and keif in mine. With oil I put 2 screens in, then the oil, then another screen. After recommendations from member here I have been using keif straight in the bowl.
For traditional type hashes...
The solo is a heavy hitter if you get a PVHES gong and use the solo on 7. Pre heating the glass is a good idea too. Huge clouds. Two bowls like that knocks me out for bed no worries.
I got my solo in 2014 and dont experience much draw resistance. I also only tamp my load very lightly and...
Hey @Choughed. I think the vapman would suit you and your husband very well.
It is a very efficient unit and it's torch powered which is great for off grid living.
A pear wood basic with a lighter and concentrate screens is only US $105 from http://infinityvm.com/ (a site run by forum member...
I like DynaStash. It explains what it does. I think 'vap' should be reserved for the 2 vapes (and any future ones). Maybe 'dyna' could be in the name of any accessories.
@elastic.plastic Yeah those are my vids/gifs. Just shot with my phone and use an app to turn them into gifs. The hardest part is making sure they are under 10mb so I can upload them to imgur.
Glad you guys are having success getting thick vapor. I love a huge lung full :D
Try 230c with the ddave mod or 250c on the stock set up. It might sound high but because you are pulling the air in a bit faster it doesn't get as much time to heat up. Make sure all the glass pieces are warmed up and let the load heat soak for a couple minutes before you hit it.
I like a...
