Sigh. I've had a new Magic Flight box before. And it's not a "little tough" either.
"Not unique, but it certainly isn't common."
I'll accept that, though I found 2 instances on other forums describing the exact problem.
And thank you for "listening" to my words and giving me good advice.
I agree. I had a bad power adapter and they took care of it. Great process!
I just don't like the fact that I cannot use a product that I purchased and bought as a back-up, only to find when I need it, it's not up to standards.
This problem seems to be common. Maybe some units will "loosen...
I do appreciate you bringing this up, and I seem to remember reading that from Magic Flight, though I had forgotten. I was actually half joking since I was told to force something that would not go with a prophetic word that "it will loosen up."
This is well beyond snug. Different tolerances...
I'll let you guys know if their perspective is not mine.
I've only owned 2 so far. One great; the other defective. 1 for 2 might be good in baseball, but.... Anyway, I just ordered a new Cherry box so I'm hoping it'll be 2 for 3 on the positive side.
After I get my replacement, I will give that a try if the company doesn't want me to ship it back.
I appreciate the advice, I really do, but I should not have to shave wood on a new product to get it to work. In my opinion this is poor QC, and I will let the company know.
I love Magic-flight...
It will not loosen up in time if the spring is seriously misaligned. I tried using a flathead screwdriver to move it, but to no avail.
I will process this as a warranty. When I get my new one, I will be glad to sell this at a fantastic price (serial # scratched off). Then someone here can...
An old friend came to visit me tonight. She was so impressed with the LB that I gave her my old faithful knowing I had an extra unopened LB as a back up.
Well, took it out of the box and the damn metal ring is misaligned so I can barely push in or pull out the battery. Is there any way to...
I just ordered the concentrate tray. Kief works in the standard trench but has a tendency to get very sticky. I want to do all kief and not just sprinkle a little in so I'm opting for the tray.
My only question is: should I use the screened or unscreened for pure kief?
Watch what happens to the herb when you take a draw. Instead of coming toward your mouth as you suck, the herb is pulled toward the back end of the trench (away from your mouth). I find this interesting. There must be a logical scientific explanation for this.
Ps, this is easier to observe...
I have a couple of science questions for you lab experts:
1). Why does the herb in the trench go in the opposite direction of the draw?
2). Is it possible to take an Indica strain, and through tempuature control, make it respond as a Sativa? Do you have a technique that you use to change...
For those of you tired of a little herb always slipping out when transporting, here's my solution. I cut out a hole from a cardboard coaster, ran a piece of string in the center, and voila, a little hole cover easily removed.
I've been using a 50/50 mix of magic herb (MH) and peppermint for the last week.
You're right, the peppermint taste takes over, but for me, this is not a bad thing. I love the fact that diluting the MH with another will conserve my precious stash.
I still get a very nice even brown color to...
I was thinking the same thing. Mix some blended herb with some medical herb to conserve and to give me a different sensation to boot.
How to balance the different herbal boiling temps would be my concern
