I don’t want to speak for someone else, but I think he is just saying that without peer reviewed evidence as to whether or not Al might cause some harm it’s not fruitful for us to have that conversation any longer. It’s a personal decision. For my part I am fortunate to have the money (and...
Good lookin out for those of us not super active on insta! I guess I ultimately am a function over form kind of person, but I also prefer the brilliant cut bottom 🙂.
When I emailed them during their last flash sale they mentioned it may be a while for colors. I’m not very knowledgeable, what...
Looks nice! I dig the polished finish, but I’ll probably end up swinging for the matte. I haven’t had my Al for very long though, so I think I will wait for colors and a 420 sale!
@Shit Snacks
Yeah I remember the last time he was selling off all of his inventory via instagram whoever was handling sales for him mentioned they had a limited supply of units with “special” grain available. This must be entirely luck of the draw. They just choose a stunning example for the Z ig.
Yeah, I figured that was the case. I just assumed the Z used the same wood as the Splinter. Maybe they do and this picture just looks much better. The wood on the splinter isn't very inspiring, while this particular Z has a fantastic grain!
@VapeFiend.com i don’t think the chinamight is the same at all! I was just curious about the manufacture. Again, it’s hard to imagine a company in China otherwise paying that much attention to these kind of vapes, but you never know.
I forgot about Nokia, but you’re right there or Germany are...
I'm just speculating of course, but my high level understanding of how the chinese counterfeits usually happen is a supplier who is already in an agreement runs some extra shifts after hours or after fulfilling capacity and just subs in cheaper components and looser qc to get higher margins. I...
It just seems like there is no way the customer base would be large enough to justify a factory investing that much money you know? You can't just build one of something at factory scale.
I don't know what Finland has for production capacity. Maybe its all done in house, but I think the...
I really enjoy my Woodscents, but I don't think comparing it to the Flowerpot holds up. It is plenty powerful for what it is, but its no ball vape and the inherent limitation of a dynavap tip is that you're not going to be able to match a FP sized load even if the heater has the oomph to drive...
This is strictly a curiosity driven question and I don't think it implies anything negative about the TM or TM2, but does anyone know where they are manufactured or have they ever commented? I've seen people comment about scale and mass production, and the existence of the Chinamight seems to...
I don’t find I need to do any draw control to snap small bowls on my ws. It’s already pretty restricted anyway. I pack about half of a dynavap tip without any converter—like I leave the ccd set at full and I don’t bother with a half bowl converter or anything like that. The heater tip on the...
Yeah, I know the mflb! I remember being real tempted by a portable and affordable vape when it first came on the scene. I agree that it’s way past it’s prime, but I can see a reasonable person arguing that the lifespan of an 18650 in a tm or tp80 isn’t sooooo impressive even if I think it’s...
So far almost everyone had suggested battery powered portables, which seem like maybe not your cup of tea given your comment about replacing batteries?
Lots of great desktops out there depending on your dosage needs. Big fan of a log for small doses myself, but there are quite a few heavy...
@PeteyS you can try a low temp cap out, but aside from heating closer to the tip there isn’t much you can do with the dynavap. I think I mentioned I don’t think it’s the best solution for temp stepping or low temps in general.
@fangorn thanks for your comments. I've actually been really loving my toad with the glass beads in the stem, and using it that way almost exclusively to learn the ropes of unregulated.
Since that first weekend things have come pretty intuitive for me. I just have the high heater, but I am...
I’m still using it, and it’s been great! I don’t know if I need 4 bays all the time, but it’s nice having them when I need to charge a pair of double a’s for my mouse and an 18650 or two. Having independent channels is nice, and the time to full at 2a is absurd (under 40 mins, but as I have so a...
