I don't have the money to spend on this as I just bought two vapes within a month when I was only planning on one (damn Vapcap M), but I can't wait to see how this turns out. The aesthetic is to die for.

Used one of the spare screens to sandwich the pack in there. Works perfectly. 2 mins at 400 degrees and the mouthpiece screen is spotless even after hard rips!!! Got some big hits too. Underestimated this thing a bit.

Same here, the part of the mouthpiece that covers the bowl gets EXTREMELY hot, like I'm pretty sure it would burn me if I left my fingers on it. Could certainly be causing the cracking in some units.

Idk, but they definitely SHOULD sell it separately too in my opinion. At this point it seriously couldn't be anything but a materials issue. I might be keeping mine below 400 until they get a replacement out.

I'll have my Alternate from PIU next weekend & I'm super excited, but I'm even more excited to see what products Vivant comes out with in the future! Are y'all developing any more vaporizers at the moment? :cool: Anyway, love the community involvement; that video (above) is hilarious.

I plan to use my Alternate mostly for microdosing (when i get it). The bowl size and ability to use mostly convection is perfect for even smaller amounts. Plus when I wanna hit a 9 I can just pack a full bowl or two!

I was going to buy through DHGate but fuck it, I'll buy through PIU in a day or two so I can get it sooner. Super excited, seems like everyone who has the Alternate loves it. :nod:

I think it was extended to 2 years. Does the DHGate Alternate not come with a battery??

Hate the taste of my Pax 2 so I think I sell it and order an Alternate off of DHGate... if money wasn't so tight I'd buy from PIU. But if I'm impressed (which I'm sure I will be) then I'll definitely be a Vivant customer in the future. ;)

Damn, now I want this... but I wouldn't pay more than 50 for it. Hopefully another seller pops up on Ebay. Any other good China tabletop vapes? I want a desktop unit but I don't want to spend much.
