The 12V plug is shorter than the 120V charger plug,which was most likely designed to be long for a good reason. My 12Vplug fell out as the cord is not long enough to allow setting the ascent in a stable place while charging and driving, THIS IS A NO BUY RECOMMENDATION IMO
