I'm loving the saml klein more than I thought I would. I get better flavor out from it than the straight fab. Now I'm looking for a small drop down or ash catcher that looks nice on it. Maybe the biao.t one. Some of the TAG ones look nice too...

Here's a few demo videos of the saml klein. It's been good for both ball vapes and dabs. Very open airflow once it gets going. If you overfill it's easy to get a mouth full of water, but when you get the level right there's no risk. The third video is an example of what happens with too much water.

I'll have to experiment again but I was drinking water when the water level was higher, but maybe there's a sweet spot I am missing. Or I was inhaling too hard. I never had a recycler before.

The SAML Klein and a new banger arrived in the mail today. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but it seems to function well.

Would that SAML Klein be any good for dabs? I have been so tempted to get it but I mainly need a dab rig right now and it sounds like it's more for flower? I might get it anyways tbh. I've been really happy with my SAML straight fab.

I was just messing with this again. It looks like it will work great if I use silicone o-ring as a stopper. Unfortunately I'm not much of a dabber so I haven't tested it yet.

Yeah I could also stretch the coil to make it a bit longer. I was also thinking a silicone o-ring on the banger would work as a stopper.

It fits but would be better with the axial coil.

I got the 18mm SAML straight fab. Very good quality. I have no complaints about it at all really. It pairs great with a ball vape.

Looks great I might copy this eventually. I've been looking for a ball vape I can take camping and this looks perfect. I wonder if it might work on a butane powered soldering iron as well 🤔

I use a 10-24 socket head screw with silicone whip tubing over it for heat protection. It was supposed to be a temporary solution but I actually like it. You can see in the second image I cut it shorter.

Does anyone know what's up with the drop-down ash catchers? It looks like there is a regular version that is out of stock, and the large version that's currently in stock. Anyone know what the difference is? I was looking into getting one to use with a straight fab. Not sure if I should try to...
