If you really want to use your BakX before receiving your new mod you can try to use it in wattage mode, unregulated.

@Datoneguy, iirc you have a bit more tinkering to do with a non DNA mod to set it up properly for the BakX and DNA mods are almost "plug and play" (load BakX profile, set cold resistance and go). The few users that had problems with their BakX used non DNA mods. Some of them just switch to a DNA...

As @ezpz said an hairdryer works well. Even blowing hot air on the outside of the stem can make it hot enough to dry the insides. A oven should work also. And as other said, there is nothing really wrong in using the stem still wet in the TM (I find that it makes the glass "cloudy" though)

Assuming you uploaded the right DNA250C I would try to take out for a few seconds and reinstall the battery and try again. If you still have the same problem I would try to reinstall the firmware. You can also try to clean the contacts on your BakX and mod.

Great ! I should have assumed you were referring to a complete Anvil with thermocore. The XL mouthpiece would have been useless with just the USA assembly (thermocore oven + condenser + USA) because it needs the Anvil stem to be attached to to be used 😳😅

If the thermocore is just the oven (and not an entire Anvil with thermocore oven), the XL mouthpiece will be useless.

IMHO it's not really worth it because you end up with really big and heavy powerbank with at best 5600 mAh capacity, which is nowadays only 1 smartphone charge. I agree it's certainly still better to use those 18650 than throwing them though.
