Woohoo, mine arrived today along with the bubble cap in a separate package. First thing I noticed out the box is a lot of gluey residue on the glass where it meets the base - anyone else? Should I wipe this stuff off, whatever it is?

Hey @Dr.Dabber - when I try to purchase a bubble cap, the minimum shipping charge is $15. Is there a way to forego the separate shipping and have it bundled with my Switch? Also, got any pics of a fumed percolator that's been put through the ringer?
