After reading through this thread and watching several videos, I’m going to get this over the Splinter. My current use case is very much geared towards microdosing and I think the Imp will be a perfect complement to my Dynavap.

This ticks a lot of boxes for me. I’ve always wanted an RBT vape and the more I read of this the more I feel like this would be the one that best suits my needs.

I’m using an M too! Just got a Ti tip on mine instead of the SS.

With an IH the Ti tip is really nice for fast heat ups and cool downs, which means more heat cycles per session, which to me results in more total hits, especially now that I’m preferring to sip and take small mouth hits versus huge lung draws that clear the bowl in two heat cycles.

I didn’t find advice saying starting with the v3, I found advice on how to best use the v3, and have been vaping long enough that I felt comfortable jumping past the 2.7. Maybe that will be a mistake on my part but I feel comfortable using the 3.5 given my own experience.

Well, I appreciate the advice, but after doing more research on the device, best practices, and finding the discount links still work, I decided to go with the v3.5. I’m really looking forward to tasting my concentrates with this thing.

I have the XL equivalent size one and the body does get warm but not hot to the touch. Personally I think the XL is just the right size for me.

Any reason why you use V2 more? Easier, more versatile, better flavor?

Given the low low price, what are the drawbacks of the V2.7 concentrate donut atomizer vs the V3 or 3.5?

I’m also annoyed that the new Silo lost a space for spare herb. The bowl on the VapCap is so small that it seems like an essential element of any portable storage for it.

If Dynavap is selling the 2019 SS tips by 4/20 I may grab one to use with the Dynacoil. I think the fact it retains heat longer would be beneficial for loading bowls, since you want a little heat for the concentrate to melt onto the coil.
