What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

Ah! I will take a look at the Arctic Fox updated and will try that tonight.

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

I tried to put surmyevic on my P80 and the Wismec firmware updater kept giving me an error message about confirming my hardware version. It looks like if I want it to possibly work I have to download another program and edit files. Doesn’t seem worth my time, the DNA mods are far more worthwhile.

    Dynavap VapCap

I ordered a 2019 M from them and they sent me an email saying they were waiting on new stock of them so just be aware for anyone ordering that there may be a few days delay if you order a 2019 M. I’m wondering if the delay was to get ones that had the grooves in the tip machined at the correct...

    Discontinued Splinter Z by RBT

I’m starting to feel the magic. Tonight I filled up the screen to 2/3 very loosely packed. I had the Z set at 365, 50-51 watts, .39 ohms. I did two long heats to warm it up. I drew long and slowly, shutting off the firing button about halfway through each draw. I consistently got big clouds of...

    Dynavap VapCap

Are you going to try them out? Please report back. If they stay cool to the touch after multiple hits and are more sturdy I’ll get one.

    Dynavap VapCap

I noticed that Sneaky Pete’s store has a new Dynavap water stem that works with 18mm, 14mm, or 10mm water pieces. Costs a little more than DDave’s water wand but has a bit more flexibility. They are also selling Hula cooling stems, which are similar to the Glass Charlie stems but look thicker...

Well I appreciate you pushing against my preconceptions of logs, because that does sound exactly like what I want. I’ll take another look at the E-nano!

Best microdoser that isn’t a Dynavap?

I did just want to add one thought, while the Dynavap ends up crisping flower after a few hits, the Dynacoil is impressively smooth and flavorful even after multiple hits of the same material. I actually think the Dynacoil is one of the best concentrate vaporizers at any price.

    Dynavap VapCap

The heater is completely functional without the DDave mod but when you’re a few hits in the last thing you want to have to do is try and hold the Vapcap straight into a heating tube. DDave’s mod turns the SJK heater from a decent solution to an excellent one. The mod is really inexpensive and...

    Dynavap VapCap

They do work well, with two caveats: 1. For the first hit or two the heater will time out before the cap clicks. You will have to remove the Dynavap from the heater and reinsert it once per heat up for those first two at least (this is with the Ti tip so it may be more for the SS tip). 2. You...

Best microdoser that isn’t a Dynavap?

Thank you for the excellent perspective. I wasn’t looking at the Splinter as a microdoser so I should just focus on that for now. And ultimately I think you’re right about the Omnivap. I should just get an XL condenser and a Ti mouthpiece to make my M a bit nicer. The Firewood is still very...

Yes, I do have an IH! I like it a lot. I don’t use it exclusively because I also love the ritual of using a torch.

Best microdoser that isn’t a Dynavap?

I apologize, I should have listed a price limit. I don’t want to spend more than $300 altogether, which I know disqualified a few of the vapes people here have been recommending. I also realize a log vape can be an excellent microdoser, I wasn’t suggesting they can’t be. I just personally...

Best microdoser that isn’t a Dynavap?

After going back through Summer’s list and watching some videos and reviews, I realized that I overlooked the Firewood 5 way too quickly. Given that my current usage is once a day late at night for 2-4 hits total, a log vape seems like overkill. If I were able to do longer sessions and wanted to...

The big one I’m waiting for is the Sprout. I honestly don’t need more than what I have now either, so maybe I should be spending that money on Jyarz and flower!

Thanks @Summer! I appreciate how much time and effort you put into helping people around here. That’s part of what makes this community so awesome. New Omnivap coming soon?

Well that’s good to know! I have multiple Ti tips and prefer the design of the 2019 M body over the current Omnivap body design. I’m assuming you’d need to get the Omni XL stem? Or since the mouthpiece is built in would you just need the regular Omni condenser? Edit: Playing with the...
