If you run it up to 1000 it turns kinda blue and there’s little bits of polish that burn off and others that remain. It leaves a patina. Loses its shine. Needs another polish. But it looks brutal. Works for my setup. I think silver or gold were the best shiny looks.

I believe the coiled attys run in titanium mode or within certain TCR parameters, while the nails and Terra's are Nickle coated in ceramic. I may be wrong there. Also, don't expect to get perfect temp readings if a donut and nail have to be heated by a wire, that is a bit art and a bit science.

That looks far better. In the orbs it was almost impossible to screw them on without first taking off the top to be sure it didn't get screwed down in the process. If the bucket sits better too, even better.

Terra's have run on ego twists for me. Now, they take longer than rods and coils to heat up. This is simple physics. The wire is covered by ceramic in a donut. An uncovered wire would just need to get hot. One coated in ceramic must then heat the ceramic first before it gets hot enough and wax...

I blew my triple coil after some success with it. Tried TC mode with it (mine won't lock wattage in TC... grrrr) was getting great hits below 400, so I turned it up to 400. Wow. That was the hardest hit I have ever had!!! Try again, atty blown. Look and notice I had it at 400 Celsius. D'oh...

What settings for TC for the dual coil? Quartz or ceramic? Orb 3 or XL atty? I don't think I can lock my wattage in TC... grrrrr.

It felt weird to type "Pen", but by finally doing 510 threading properly, it is only a little longer than an Orb XL on a box mod. I think only the heat sink makes it longer.
