The Galaxy banger coil setup does cover the bottom

When i uptempo with the SIC Halo I set it to 480, preheat the cap until the temp starts going back up, remove cap, turn off the coil, load the dish at around 420 turn it back on usually before it hits 400 and it goes up to ~510 in about 6-10 seconds and the dab is gone before it settles back to 480

I received my sapphire dishes from 4/20 right away, still nothing on the separate order with an Obsidian, my buddy emailed CCA and Zach said the Obsidians were out of stock since before 4/20 and thats why we haven't heard anything yet, and yet again reinforces their "stock levels" are lies.

I changed the speed down and set it to a channel vs auto and that seems to have done the trick, Im not to mad about it because the only things on my 2.4 are smart bulbs, plugs and strips so they are not hurting for speed. Im still not sure why this was necessary to get the Queen to connect...

Which setting was it? the only thing i see close is under the 2.4 wireless, the speed setting has 3 tiers, 54, 200 something and 600, so i set it to 54 guessing thats b only mode? didn't seem to change anything though, maybe its a different setting?

exactly /= slight differences due to impurity. The chemical notation is different....boro and quartz are the same composition most times and are hardly the same......The literal definition of a ruby is the threshold of the impurities that change it from a pink sapphire to a properly defined...

Boro is still going to expand and contract relatively much more then quartz, might not just outright crack but you'll no doubt have to be extra careful with your coil setup but in the long run quartz is used for bangers for a reason. Also face palm @ sapphire and ruby being the same...

Not trying to be that guy but thats semantics, an insert drop is an insert drop and an uptemp is an uptemp. Id prefer to let rectangles just be rectangles if they arnt squares. No where at all does dnail say or even suggest what you're saying, Ill agree with you that it would take a long time...

Really? I could swear they stressed how important starting from a stabilized temp was absolutely critical? I guess Ill re read it yet again. Maybe for drop ins, but Im talking uptemps as I thought we decided that was the future or dabbing?

I think the big draw of sapphire over other materials, aside from the relative moderate flavor increase is the uptemp method itself works much better on sapphire then anything else, at least according to dnails rather verbose and technical uptemp write up from years back.
